Also no matter where you decide to start, don't let yourself give way to feeling overwhelmed. There are going to be new concepts, but in time things will make sense. Maybe start with Mint (Cinnamon) coming from Windows. ✌️

Maybe contact as many blogs and reviewers of apps as you can, and ASK THEM (never cold solicit people) if it would be ok to send them your app for review.
