@k0pernikus I hardly test my software, but I always test the brakes on my bike
-
"should be simple"
I cringe every time a non coding person exclaims this. It shows lack of respect for your skills. -
@van2928 In ricks voice: THATS GOOD MORTY THE STUDENT BECOMES THE TEACHER BURP
-
its part of my unofficial introduction tour...
-
"I mean... *laughs* I didn’t go to college for this kind of stuff."
I doubt she went to college either way -
back in like, I think 1995 my dad made his first website with a feature he was super proud of...
buttons that did not do anything -
you can be a hell of a lot of retard if you pay me fiddy bucks an hour for simple shit
-
@ladiesman maybe its loaded with a php include()?
-
so my colleagues just put "I'm a little teapot" on the playlist. Laughing my ass off!
-
@Prostration in Rick's voice: red X... Red X
-
@thealex I hope it's real, I think that's a great name for a company.
-
@zokazavevu
When designing for print you should know colors, margins, bleeds, PDF formats, converting fonts, etc
When you design for motion graphics you should know framerates, resolutions, easing, noise, render settings, etc
When you design for web you just need to know how to make pretty pictures in photoshop, developers should do all the boring and stupid work of making an end product -
So the name of the company is company name?
-
@senzory sort of agree, just shitty to find out that doing 20 years of free over time - hard work - not complaining - amounts to being fucked over when you are at your most vulnerable
-
And I thought my day sucked
-
Liked it more then frontpage - back in the day
-
@sSam it seemed the quickest way to eveluate the line without throwing an error.
-
@JKyll yeah - but also JS - I am not gonna try more then those tho...
-
@JKyll I dunno about other languages - or feel inclined to find out - but in php this becomes a string length comparison - where the second one evaluates to false.
-
>Both evaluate to true.
no they don't -
"This lady is very computer illiterate, so much that I have to describe the wifi icon as a dot with two waves above it."
my favourite, you have to click the search icon, you know, that one that looks like a frying pan -
A bit offtopic. Doesn't wikipedia have an API so you would not need to use a scraper?
-
and it goes on, chunks of random fucking javascript commented out with twig... I mean I get having this in a working enviroment and working sloppy but having this in the actual product you sell to customers!?!
-
@jhh2450 "It's not impossible (or even hard)"
LOL pun intended? -
@jhh2450 "Like yea porn sites is an obvious block"
If the only reason to not watch porn at work is a block I do not want to work with that someone. You should be technical enough to find a workaround when you work in tech! -
do the cool kids in the office use a vpn maybe? maybe you can ask?
-
only you can prevent housefires! (I was just thinking about getting an extinguisher last night)
-
@wizzzard pretty cool that you made the robot with a confused mode, thats some AI shit right there :P
-
For bonus build the robot that can:
D. be at a specific place at a specific time
There: you made a robot that can do stuff your teacher can't -
@Crazed why not? When the shit comes down just say you send multiple emails to your superiors pointing out the issue, and then explain they were not delivered because you have no internet, easy.
