It's blocked in my company, too. I was very angry (and WTF, it's a productivity tool to me) at the beginning, but now listen through my phone.

I don't get why companies (and I've even seen some schools) block sites/apps.

Like yea porn sites is an obvious block (for work, not school), but why music streaming? Music is a great way to increase productivity, so why block something that will make your employees work better?

@CodeNoir Yea I'd just listen through my phone. I've got premium (student discount is $4.99 a month 😍) so all my music is saved on my SD card, so just playing it from there lol

@jhh2450 in my case, I think it's due to bandwidth. They have the shittiest Internet connection I've seen in a company, so it makes sense. A bad thing to be cheap on, though.

@commanderkeen If you're a grown ass man (or woman, but let's be realistic with ourselves, it's mainly men who'd do that lol) and you can't resist an urge like that, then you have bigger issues than your company blocking a few internet sites.

I've been in that situation before, but I was at school lol. It's not impossible (or even hard) to get over that.

Also, there's a thing called professionalism, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't involve watching porn at work.

Surprisingly that is not a common sense on where I live.
