My head is already full of a lot of important information for work && some garbage picked up throughout the years. Memorizing things for a dR trivia game seems like a chore.

It's just sad that there are scum that either blatantly rip-off other content to make a quick buck, or use very shady means to 'ride the coattails' which prompted this rule being written down. Definitely depends on the field. Yes, medical field does require years of learning && then practice. Same for aviation. IT, however, - you can learn things on your own && be good at it w/o school or paperwork. Then, there are pointless doctorates, mostly in social or artistic fields.
