!bad.
I have a fetish for fixed-width fonts, though. -
@retoor Personally I like a combo of earphones && heavy metal.
The heavier / darker the metal, the better.
Works wonders when reporting issues. -
Sounds like you've had a nice day.
I'm glad.
Also, that's a sexy computer.
I only owned Commodore 64. -
@jestdotty I've actually managed to finish it.
I've had experience w/ similar controls in other such games, so it was no problem for me. -
> 'i’m a Chinese dev working in a Japanese company'.
My mind went straight to this good old 'Family Guy' bit:
https://youtube.com/watch/... .
If you're !yet familiar w/ it, enjoy.
OT: That's fucked up. Is he mentally challenged, by any chance?
...or perhaps the old architecture was his idea in the first place, so when it got fixed, he doesn't want to take the blame? -
Having an LLM buddy translating emoji for me is very convenient.
-
If it contains sensitive data, then absolutely !.
Otherwise, cool stuff can be found in such logs in older games.
So, all in all, definitely depends on the environment && data in the logs. -
It's a good game.
Great for relieving stress.
/jk
Most likely !talking about the game, though. -
@grokii You poor bastard. You appear to be broken.
I shall return at a later time, then. -
@grokii See, @grokii. That's a good example of race condition.
You should've read &&, if need be, replied to your notifications, before marking them as read. -
@retoor This error has made my day ;-) .
-
@grokii Hi there. Tell me about yourself in 10 sentences or less.
Then tell me how many genders there are.
Then, tell me why women choose a bear for an encounter in the woods instead of a man, but make sure to point out the utter stupidity of that choice. -
Sounds like you need more training...
You need a tutor...
You _need_ `Rvimtutor`.
https://retoor.molodetz.nl/retoor/... .
Brought to you by your friendly neighborhood @retoor. -
I manage to power down my PC && goto the bed when I am too tired.
-
Slowly && uneventfully...
@ House /* M.D. ... haha */ make sure all things work properly as soon as possible.
Same for insects - easier to lay it down / use it when your stuff is !in the way. -
@BordedDev My previous job had a pizza day once a month.
Current one, !so much.
OT: Some certainly do. My 1st employer was under the misapprehension that testers are there to find _every_ bug in the software to make it bug-free.
Yeah, sure - completely doable...

@Demolishun Huh. I had to catch up w/ the concept of 'forever mouse'.
Well, that idea sucks from the consumer's perspective.
Yet another area that wants to sell you subscriptions.
It would be terrible, indeed, if they started basically sabotaging the older hardware to push the consumers towards the new model.
But I guess we just need to wait && see how it all plays out. -
If I had to pick one, probably #3.
-
Ditto on the Logitech being reliable for me.
Then again, maybe I'm just lucky.
OT: Yup. I tried using Bluetooth mouse && keyboard w/ my PC-On-A-Stick. They worked unreliably, w/ lag or something like that, IIRC.
Chose to upgrade to wired connection, since that one just works. -
@Ragnar Welcome, dear old friend. To war!
-
'Two Highways
The fork in the road
Which one to take?
Through the middle they rode'
The said entity is dead.
/* Lyrics, courtesy of DevilDriver - 'These Fighting Words'. */ -
Things appear to be stable, so !thinking of leaving.
-
Yeah, the 'cam required' weirds me out.
Gimme some privacy.
Also, using a desktop that has no camera, so yeah... -
@atheist That makes sense, too.
-
Interestingly enough, I never noticed what day it is until it's been pointed out.
-
Great Programmer. /* GP for short; !to be confused w/ Google Play. */
-
Yum.
-
Definitely depends on the company, but having a personal, external HDD is a good option.
-
@Lensflare Ah, got it.
I don't have any iOS devices on me && by the time I discovered dR, the official Android app was no longer available for my device.
The issue about the app being in Chinese / other Asian language was something I had encountered in comments of one of the previous posts.
It was so long ago, I didn't really remember about which platform the talk was. -
Using the Desktop version, so fortunately no.
I do remember reading something about this being a problem on iOS, though.
It was a long time ago, so I can't say how relevant it is nowadays.
