It's abandoned.

The official ios app and android app is not available anymore.

Weeklies stopped a few years ago.

Image upload stopped working a few months ago.

Supporter subscription doesn't work, apparently.

There is no moderation and because of that, the platform is flooded with ad spam.
There is a bot system by @retoor that downvotes and removes the spam though, so this problem isn’t very visible.

@AalbatrossGuy As a guy who also used to look at dR with long gaps, it does definitely feel like dR is slowly falling apart at this point, and yes as the others have said not a lot of old timers around anymore. Which is a shame, I used to come read dR when life wasn't doing great (or I had exhausted meme sites, RIP memecenter) but that is kinda why I'm being a bit more active since I don't know if dR will be around after another long break.
