@spoiledgoods – Bring the issue to your manager. The sooner a senior dev can help you, the sooner you improve. As an improved dev, you increase your value to the team/company. And so on.
Bottom line: it's in everyone's best interest that you get assistance ASAP. If your manager doesn't think so, escalate the issue to his/her manager. -
@ClearOFf – 5/7
-
Boooo.
-
@bashleigh – Maybe teach this kid how to use git ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
-
@jespersh – I caught the error days (and many commits) later 😔
-
@Teknas – master will survive; can't say the same for co-worker.
-
@moghir2004 – Agreed with @JMoodyFWD. I popped my mechanical keyboard cherry with this one, and I haven't had a reason to switch since.
-
Way to hang in there! Congrats dude.
-
I too like to live dangerously.
-
@Condor – Dude chewed himself out, Double Bubble.
-
Neat.
-
@pixelwiese – you don't keep a leash in your bedroom?

Am a kid. Have one. Can confirm that kids want these.
P.S. It's an infrared thermometer. -
Worst.
-
@peiche – I understand _how_ it works. I meant "from a security standpoint, how could the potential of this breach not have raised flags earlier."
-
@FrodoSwaggins – Deep.
-
@lubwn –No ugly popups, but now the whole application is ugly instead ☹️.
-
And for now we'll both settle with hitting [ESC] everytime we see that damn popup.
-
^ this guy budgets.
-
@spoiledgoods – Deep.
-
@ericksm3 – Calm your titties.
-
I mean, it's not wrong.
-
@rasm945i – Tell those greasy fingered mofos to *not* touch your screen next time. Or, if you wanna be passive aggressive about it, give a subtle ~sigh~ of annoyance, and wipe down the spots they touched while they're still there.
-
@Diactoros – The 40+ yr olds with (technical backgrounds) in my company are product owners, department leads, CTO, or CEO.
-
Regardless of context, those people should be fired.
-
@j4cobgarby – If there's anything important on your phone, back it up like a dump truck.
-
Early bird. My skin color dictates that I need more sunlight to maintain proper bodily function.
-
I've graduated to two vertically stacked monitors (landscape orientation, of course). Less cursor and eye travel to navigate between the two monitors for speed gains and carpal tunnel alleviation.
-
Tight.
-
@Floydian – The only use case I've ever come across for RegEx is for parsing sections of strings that follow a pattern defined by the dev (e.g., if a phonebook existed as a single string of names and numbers, RegEx could help you parse out these names and numbers to be more easily manipulated for later).
The hardest part for noobs like myself is being the dev that comes up with a pattern that doesn't suck. And today, I'm sucking at RegEx.
