I love Laravel too. But Laravel ships with Vue. And Vue is the bane of my life at the moment...

document.getElementById('test')

I know right? 640k ought to be enough for everyone!
-
Perhaps it's just me, but I've never been down voted on SO, having used it from absolute noob. Format questions clearly, show you've done research and provide enough information. That's worked for me.

I have the same mouse and mousemat! :)
-
@KeyWeeUsr nothing that cool, unfortunately. I'm just using one for my laptop and the other for my desktop.
-
@riekena You know, it's not bad! Perhaps it's the laptop screen, but I've not had a problem with glare at all.
-
@QuantumAtom I'm just using W10. I've not really gotten into Linux yet. I think maybe when I finish uni I'll look into it.
-
@Dittoslash Balcony! But at times it can look like you're out at sea, the house is about 6m from the edge of the lake and the waves get get rough sometimes.

@SirWindfield @devs I do agree that in terms of build quality the MacBook Pro is *probably* the best there is. But the XPS, I have to say comes very close... It has the aluminium casing like the mac, although the inside is plastic. Personally I prefer the feel of it over the mac, it's soft on the wrists but still feels solid. It comes down to personal preference I suppose. As a side note, I was also very impressed with Dell customer support, they were very helpful.
-
@devs I feel confident in recommending it. For one, it's smaller and more portable than my dads MacBook Pro, which I must admit you do pay a premium for; there are definitely much cheaper ways to get the same specs. But the build quality is great, I love the touchpad with the multi finger gestures, the keyboard is great to type on. The only thing I don't like is the IRST accelerated hard drive setup. It's not that it's slow, but it can't outperform a pure solid state setup. I'm definitely going to upgrade the M2 drive and use it as the boot drive in the near future.

@SirWindfield it's a Dell XPS 15 9560
-
@SirWindfield because it's a great laptop :)
-
@jugzy Yeah it's the XPS15
-
@linuxxx It's beautiful isn't it? Although I do live in Liverpool, I'm actually in Wales right now.

Chrome, FF, Opera, IE! Did I win?
-
I just submitted a coursework for a dashboard application in JavaFX... it was painful, especially when I knew I could make a better app with javascript in a fraction of the time.

You forgot the sudo. I think you meant "sudo Please stop it".

Day 109: Windows is still updating

I don't trust left-handed mouse users. Happy Birthday though.

Apple are taking design ideas from the Note 7, didn't your hear?

What about paleolithic grunting? I'm sure you could come up with indefinite variations of an irate grunt. Hrrrggghh!
