Like collabs, we should have a new section for only technical discussions about anything like common practices, is there a better way to do this, how's the new tech, general discussions about a library or language etc.
I'm not much interested in the jokes and that's all I see in my feed. Not that I hate that aspect but I prefer more of the tech talk.

Any VB.Net developers found a job as C# dev.
Do you count your experience for .net as a whole? I feel if you know .net it's not a major difference between vb.net and c# it's just the syntax difference but I'm hesitant to apply for C# jobs based on my experience in vb.net. Any one with switch experience?20 -
!rant
When you click on a notification about a comment, does it take you directly to the comment or the rant page? I always have to scroll down to find my comment. It's not a link!
Anyone need below features?
# 0 It would be good to have your own username/comment highlighted differently so it's easy to find our own comments.
# 1 we should have a scroll to bottom option for a rant. For a huge rant when you click on notification you need to scroll down to bottom manually to check new comments. -
Anyone gave Amazon interview? They scheduled second phone round for me. Apparently I am not that good. Any tips?5

Fuck entity framework code first! It's a pain in the ass making relationships work with code first! 😑😑6

Probably not worst but back when I was in graduate school I used '=' instead of '.equals()' for a string, by mistake. My professor was so pissed and taunted in front of whole class about how dumb people are here without taking any names(btw I didn't realize that guy was me until later) and gave me a low score
I told her later it really doesn't matter if I used either because '=' worked just fine in my case. She was a little more pissed after knowing that I wasn't wrong. 😜6 -
As a normal developer, I ignored the warning symbols google maps gave me and kept going the route only to realize late later that warning symbol must have said "toll road". Luckily I did have cash LOL1

Lately, I have been seeing more of devJokes than devRant. Even I've got some UDP jokes, but I'm afraid no one might get it.3

Working from home via RDP. The lag kills me at times, you delete something, nothing happens and suddenly it's all gone. It's like I'm communicating in outer space with a super slow response time! Arrghhh!4

I so hate working with legacy db code! I wish I could migrate all to entity framework but the migration is a pain in the ass and would take hours which the client wouldn't like.1

Who else needs a snooze notifications option for the night like slack? Too many notifications at night lol2
