If it has the same genius that put a annoying flap on the Ethernet port, you're set.

Installs Kali, calls themself a hacker. Sounds 'bout right 😂
-
@senzory Just go on dates. If she goes Dutch on every date, she's a keeper.
-
Throw her in the trenches of code, only way to learn!
-
TBH as long as it it's soccer it rugby, I'll cheer and watch it. Not a fan of the violent fan shit, though. Also not a fan of idiotic "e sports".
-
Good call, hope all works out for you and she cools off!

Let me tell you about the time I found command injection, and the team said it was a tool they use and shouldn't have to fix it.

Switched when Chrome was discovered to be why my PC kept crashing. Burn it
-
Didn't Microsoft lend Apple some heavy coin so they wouldn't go under?
-
I only use Kali on VMs, and on laptops I don't mind being sacrificed after running a bad command 😭
-
@Condor Yes. I thought that was self explanatory in the original post at the part about them getting hired.
-
@Condor The main point of the program is to get students work experience and have them involved in real world projects in whatever their field is. However, they aren't doing the heavy lifting like FTE are and don't know as much as others do, so we pair them with professionals. Once their program is up, they get an offer or they can leave with work experience to put on their resume. You can despise it all you want, I liked the program when I did it and had no complaints.
-
@Condor Interns getting the same wage as full time employees? No, and I'm saying that and I was an intern. We got decent pay, but not as much as FTE. I didn't know anywhere near as much as the group I was assigned to, and didn't know how the business operated. Why would I get paid as much as someone with experience, knowledge of how the business operates, and me not even be done with school yet? I learned a lot in the program, it wasn't exploitation at all, and I was hired right away. There is no prolonged time involved, so we're aren't talking a year long internship here.
-
@py2js Not really, it's either take the job or leave after 6 months.
-
@senzory Dude, how about you fuck off? We teach our interns everything they need to know for their potential roles and not one has ever left a bad review. I was an intern and loved how the company handled the program.
-
Why are you even on Tumblr? You seem intelligent and stable, definitely not the place you want to visit.

I need to seal off my attic and install more insulation, but I'm not going in a 120 degree attic. Of course I said the same thing last year and had plenty of time to do it during the winter 🤣
-
This is why no one likes group projects where they can't choose their groups

I remember switching to PNG in my design days, and laughing at the peons using JPEG and their blur's.

Sales folk, dime a dozen but only worth a penny.

Hey build my house for free and I'll tell my neighbors how great you did k thx bai

It's awkward labeling Windows for idiots when the intelligence needed to use Mac is drastically low.
-
That's a good idea. No compensation, no output; no output, no compensation. Though some people I know barely do the latter and get compensated 🙄
-
Not a "Winblows" issue, but "shitel" 😲
-
@ModernShoe Well, pop songs are easy: "OOOouuuhhuhuhhhhh, YEAAAAeaaAaaaaa YEAAAAA, BAAYYYY YAYYY BAAYYYYaaaas"
-
I don't know why they wear them at all, can't be good for the feet.
-
The InfoSec community has been trashing her so hard, and for good reason after seeing how she ran the program. Sadly, everyone in management thinks they can run a security program and I hear it everyday from irrelevant wannabes: "Oh just put a firewall right there, hurrrrrrr".
-
The "I have nothing to hide" argument is flawed. If that's so, they better have no locks, doors, and walk around naked.

Here's hoping this speeds up the fall of Facebook.
