One time in college we had an android project for one of our courses. Then this one member of my team didn't want to install Android studio because he didn't want to install any unnecessary software and libraries to his machine. We wanted to do his part editing directly in github.

A client that owns a restaurant wanted me to develop a webapp for the restaurant with 15-20 pages and table reservation feature. He wanted to pay me with a "free" dinner in the restaurant.

"I don't believe in software development methodologies, agile is absurd. Just tell me the exact HOURS you will spend doing research, gathering requirements, etc. I want to know the justification on why you will spend those many hours doing those task"

The president and manager where I work always say: "We have to defy the status quo". But when I say "we don't need to do that in this way, we can do it this way which is more efficient". Then they say, "We can't because we have to do everything in the same way". You are just making yourself look stupid.

I was going to an interview and they kept me waiting for more than 1 hour without a notice. When the interviewer came, she didn't even apologize and gave me a form to fill out. I left the building and didn't come back. Did I did wrong? What would you do?
