Rent is also expensive around 2300 - 2500, so at the end of the year spendable left is 40k in Swizerland.

125k will be a bit low for the new position and for 130 - 135k would seem fair. Probably a staffed upgrade from 130k and following up 2k per year based on performance till 136k would be a good suggestion?

there is always three sides which you decide:

1. Fix broken shit yourself
2. Leave the broken shit, even if its escalates
3. Give up and leave

Its hard to deal with stress and saying no is in this day and age not good looked at. People forgot how to say no and how to accept a no.

My advice to you is, if you there are options offered at your workplace to change something and you can, its up to you to take it.

But if they mistreat you and see u asa useful tool, disrespect you or dont honor your legit effort -> leave or accept it.

For the new employeer you dont know until you try. But probably when you're already at this point, dont look back you probably already suffered to much to go back and nothing will change. Money is temporary.

And the saying is true. If you are a 3rd-Level Dev, the fuckups and problems of your Users becomes your problem.

Sure you can build in checks, but even that can fail or be to over engineered (efficiency/cost/reliability). And if it's the responsibility of the Key-User to check Data before a import and he fudges, you cant do much. Even implementing percentage rules with a additional check workflow wouldnt help, make the work more tedious and would end in a request to revert back.

@ars1 like you got a field price. The supplier who gives you the Data goes from 2$ to 6$. Thats entirely possible.

But not when the supplier has a system error and pushes all prices multiplied by 2. Its something we cant really check back. The key user fucked up then and didnt control the Data before and just imported it.

There is two sides to Web3

- Scam Bros, NFT, Coins and such. They took it and hyped it up to scam
- Serious side of Web3 and its a dark one

The serious side is really important. Web3 provides contracts, where you get ownership of something digitaly. Its crucial for the e-Dollar, e-Euro and such, so like every payment provider could track you.

My personal opinion is, its the next step of Big Brother and needs to be stopped. This goes way to far into the privacy of People. The Creator of the objects owns the rights and always can revoke it, if not specified to transfer ownership on exchange. The rest of Web3 most of our Web1 and Web2 system already function the same way, just the contracts are missing.

Imagine our central banks. You dont own your money, its lent to you by the banks. You fucked up somehow or displease the state and suddenly all your assets are frozen. Welcome to the beginning of dystopia.

@black-kite yes I 100 % agree. Im 28 and a senior, 36 year old devs need to give their concepts and code to me for reviews. Most of the times its good, sometimes I find something which they value and even catched some nasty bugs which would cause a major incident later on.

Something I learned trough the years is, always listen what others have to say and then decide. You may master the art but nether become the master of something. Even a Junior should review your code to learn from you and maybe he will spot a mistake you have made. We aint perfect and the will to learn and be humble is one of the crucial things in being a great Dev.
