Symfony aint bad either. Language bashing is usually a thing juniors do anyways, you kinda grow out of it once you realize nothing will ever ne perfect and tooling+ecosystem is more important than the bad parts of a language.

Learned React on my own last year, still stuck in backbone world at the day job. Which tbh, is fine, I like backbone even if its kinda old school. Its simple and flexible, maybe too simple sometimes, I guess. I've even found a way to make it act a bit like the flux architecture.
