"I'll get back to you!"
-
@12bitfloat Haha... Planning to bootstrap this.
-
@kiki OK, and the other questions?
-
Off the topic question.
"with or without breakpoint"
How do you handle responsiveness without breakpoints? JS client window checks?
Also, how do websites with completely different UIs for desktop and mobile for certain pages are rendered if built on server side?
Let's say, we've a landing page built on server completely different on mobile and desktop, how do we build pages for different screen sizes directly on the server with frameworks like NextJs? Although I understand we can prioritize one over the other but what we want both HTML static builds ready to serve based on screen client is visiting from? -
@green-portal It's time to pass over the crown now...
-
@IntrusionCM I gotta figure it out in the next 3 days remaining as I would have to return the cable back to Amazon if this doesn't work out.
-
@IntrusionCM Nope I don't, but I have posted essential logs in the given link.
Check if that helps to get some idea on where to go further from here.
Just don't know if it's a quick fix which I may have missed googling.
I would really appreciate if you could check kernel logs and guide me on this. -
@molaram Why wouldn't anyone?
-
I found this after a lot of searches but requires a driver which won't work on Linux.
Though they are providing me a windows driver. Is there a way for me to convert it to support Linux Debian as well?
Rec Trade USB 3.0 To HDMI Adapter,1080P HD Audio Video Converter USB to HDMI Adapter with Audio Output Multiple Monitors Compatible with Windows XP 7/8/8.1/10 for PC Laptop Projector HDTV (RTT - ADP - 0011) https://amazon.in/dp/B09F8PSDY4/... -
@champion01 How do I check my laptop's compatibility of transmitting video output through a USB?
-
@Lennerd You're brave to assume I would use Windows though. Lol
For the setup I have 2 external monitors and a laptop with 1 HDMI supporting display. That's it!
Right now, I'm only able to use 1 out of 2 due to the given limitation. -
@IntrusionCM The seriously thing wasn't said to him directly though.
My bad, I should have put that in the asterisks.
I want all my devs to be independent enough to perform all the tasks that I perform someday but that doesn't mean now.
For this, while WFH I am available for them on meet during the working hours at all times and they can join anytime and ask for any doubts or queries they have. This reduces a friction by a lot during WFH and gets our work done faster.
More often then not, these guys even stay on call even when someone else is asking questions just to get a better understanding on those topics too.
The demotivation part doesn't exist at all here. -
In our team we don't do the frontend testing as the requirements are very volatile and the deadlines just don't allow us more time for anything more than the dev part and some manual testing (later automated) done by the QA.
But I would highly suggest you to start with testing across if your requirements have stabilised and the deadlines can accommodate those extra time required for testing. -
@lbfalvy By steps, he also meant the password and the ssh keys to be shared too.
For the docs though, we surely have to create one soon. -
@atheist We have ansible script which we trigger manually right now.
There are few issues which needs to be sorted out first to make it auto deployable by CI/CD pipelines. -
@TestInProd423 I understand the need to document the deployment but letting them do it is surely not a solution if someone experienced is unavailable.
Apart from those steps there are times when we gotta go through logs to know why something isn't working as intended.
We still have to take decisions to rollback incase something breaks.
Memory management and other OS concepts are surely a prerequisite but there's much more than it. -
My senior created this flask sqlalchemy package for using in our project and open sourced it.
Still I would like to pass as everything you need is there in docs or searchable via Google. -
Just use d-none and all your problem's solved.
-
There are arrogant pricks everywhere, you gotta ignore them a lot of times and just get the work done. That's it!
-
Such people are really annoying...
My constant fav reply at 3rd time: Please type the intended message at one go instead of simply saying 'Hi'
And voila, people at least I know don't repeat it again. -
@Fast-Nop Debouncing occurs only when an continuous occurring event is over (Depends on max set time pauses) while throttling occurs every time the event is triggered.
Like, when you stop typing then only the search results are processed reducing the amount of network calls to be made.
While in case of when you click on post button, the click event has already triggered and now you can block or disable further clicks for a specific time frame so that no further accidental clicks are made. -
@Fast-Nop I think you mean throttling the post button, right?
-
@byulsilk He never said you to unzip your pants. So it still makes sense. :)
-
A lot!
-
I see! Looks fairly easy to me.
-
Well, you can simulate a dice with a random function.
But what that 4 of a kind, pair, etc mean there? -
What was the given problem?
-
Which series / movie?
-
Instead of that UDP example, cum all over the face would be more practical.
-
He just fucked you off without you feeling the pain. That's love...
