@DamanSingh seems like you've not been to all the posts in this thread.
-
@kyleperik but my PC is much more powerful for the same price.
-
I'm a VFX artist. I need access to Adobe software suite, AutoDesk Maya, Nuke and some plugins that are only developed for Windows.
-
@kyleperik I've tried. But I can't switch OS. And I don't only code when I kick my lappy on. Some softwares are only meant for Windows.
-
I'm using it from two months. Phrases are motivational.
-
I can feel your sentiments. ;)
-
Oh yeah!
Servers not upgrading to Python 3 is real pain in ass. -
As you said you'll be doing it for experience.
So you can make it open source, host it on GitHub so we can help.
PS. Write down ideas like somewhere. Make a collection of idea. It will help sometime. -
@daemonAD isn't your email ID adityagupta4213@yandex.com?
-
@Arlekin totally agree!
-
Spammy username.

* I was so free of time.
* Searched Google "how to become a hacker".
* Opened the first link.
* My journey started.
PS. That first link was http://catb.org/esr/faqs/...
I started with HTML and CSS, since then jumped into JavaScript, PHP, Python. I have also have basic knowledge of Java, C++, Ruby and some other popular languages.
Disclaimer: I'm a hobbyist programmer -
That's actually a great idea.
P.S. The + trick doesn't works for all the sites. They might be validating it before putting into their database. -
@daemonAD emailed you something
-
@rusty-hacker I can't buy bitcoins. Not available in India I guess.
I've tried that too. -
@rusty-hacker and which service is that?
Doing international payments with my debit card is not possible in my country.
Here in India we have something called 3D Secure payment. It had been made compulsory by RBI. All banks are required to implement a OTP system.
In International payments, they simply don't accept the card. I've tried on Google Play Store, Treehouse, AWS and others.
OTP systems just don't work with international payments. -
I actually didn't get the JavaScript part. :/
-
@edisonn actually all the code should be inside for loop
-
@saintograph want to blog together?
I have another blog over wordpress.com
I will make my former domain my personal web profile and portfolio.
Blog is at https://codicious.wordpress.com if interested. -
@milkbytes Shortcuts are not affected by display language I guess. Its keyboard layout that effects. Maybe? :/
-
I'm organic. #IYKWIM ;)
-
All those old #ProgrammingHumor rants are posted again and again. Irritating!
Edit: There's a hide repost kind of stuff in the settings too. -
Actually programming has made my life hell. I believe am too much anti social and scared of upcoming interviews.
After all, doing job for any company is all about teamwork but I feel communicating too resistive task. -
@Oversmart for a hobbyist programmer, hosting other than PHP is way costlier. :-|
-
Laravel has gained a lot of popularity recently. What is the main reason you're trying to migrate from one language to another.
-
As a hobbyist programmer, this is what happens to me most of the time. :P
Otherwise it would take so much time researching for the correct/optimized way of doing it.
If I'm taking components from different codepens, it has to manage the dependency, that's the most tedious task.
So instead of solving the puzzle, I try to paint it. It prevents me from firing client. -
@lukegv lol! (@_@) :D
-
Yes, instead of just doing a commit, try fixing or improving the algo.
-
Aren't all OSes like that?
I've used Ubuntu and believe pretty much all distros follow the same convention. 😕 -
@thmnmlst Macs have a smoother UI. Even Ubuntu has.
