We have similar in regard to sorting imports. As a junior Dev found that so frustrating but then discovered everyone used a plug-in for that, but didn't tell me 🤣

It's in production it's done. Create a new ticket for next sprint if it's that urgent

Had one with tech background and it was great. That one left and new one has none. New one pisses off all devs and ux guys. Comes up with own designs for features, ux refuses to sign off on them cuz they're shit, pm goes over ux's head and pesters devs to implement their shit designs... It's hopeless

It's good to get some opinions, ideas, and, concerns from people on the internet, but seriously, get some real legal advice on this.

Fair play for not spending a ton of time dicking around with something that you didn't like using (css) and being able to find the right tools for yourself to build what you needed in 3 days.

In Polish we call it a 'monkey'

Netlify is pretty neat. I have a few sites on it. The free plan is more than enough for static sites. I'm even running an angular app on it and use lambdas to make some API calls. Only paying for domains

I was surprised at my new company that we're required to maintain 100% coverage on frontend and at least 80% on backend. We also do automated uats for most frontend features. It takes time to write all these tests, but it's so nice and everything works

Our 500 jest unit tests for an angular app take about 12 minutes. What did you do?

If it's just a static page, use netlify. It's free. You even get lambda functions for free so can process forms and do lots of other stuff. Gh pages for complete static sites. PythonAnywhere to host python apps for free. Good reliable Free hosting for sites and apps is very much available these days and it's not an unreasonable question if you have a basic site

Hand in your notice and start looking for a different job. Hopefully they don't let you go and offer a proper raise and open up to negotiations. If not, hopefully you find a better company or try working remote
-
If you like to code look into a static site generator like Jekyll or eleventh and use netlifycms and host for free on netlify
-
That sucks. Angularjs (1.x) is still great with es6 components. Can add webpack to the mix too.

@ytho I'll be coming in to that interview with their job description in my hand and asking them a few questions. If a content manager is really who they want I'll offer my services as a freelancer/contract based for when they actually have some dev or coding jobs to do. I'm just so disappointed.

@Franboo exactly. And it kind of looks to me that they haven't even read my cv. No where in it states Wordpress, Shopify, Wix...
