How did you actually install ubuntu? I use Parallels VM but didn't know it's easy to dual boot Ubuntu on Macbooks.

Extra points for immutable age variable ;)

All my government's websites are abysmal, wish I could just make them all pro-bono.

What language and framework did you use to build devRant's private API and db? Play Scala/Java? Postgres? Docker? 😁😁
-
WOAH! Amazing! Any chance you'll put it on Github? ;)
-
Newer programming languages like Scala and Swift doesn't require the need to use semicolons. Just saying ;)
-
I'm currently building an app using Cordova, Ionic and AngularJS and even though it makes sense when it comes to business wise it just isn't equal to native. I'm also implementing WebSQL and offline support and sync for both iOS and Android, every day I almost kill myself.

Learn a new framework and run away from php!
-
What if the query return multiple tuples?
-
I hate writing unit tests. But I also hate if I'm given a code to work on without unit tests.
-
Cordova does the job, don't get me wrong. Just that html mobile apps are not as good as native ones.
Also my head hurts looking at Objective-C method signatures *shudders* -
I'm currently working with ionic + cordova + angular to write an app for iOS and Android. Every day I almost kill myself. Native FTW!
(Never tried Xamarin though) -
Is there an API?
-
Yuck! I feel for you man.
