Why?

You literally copy pasted the top one of all time. Are you stupid, or is this your attempt at trolling?
-
I personally think they should leave these engineering terms alone. It’s getting very old and I’m really tired of the tech industry doing meaningless nomenclature changes because #muhfeelings.
These terms exist and have for a long time. Everyone understands the terms, they don’t need adjusting -
@NoToJavaScript
You seem to know a lot about JS 🤔 An educated hatred or just a man who knows type annotations are the way to go? -
@LotsOfCaffeine
Yeah, I know I won't. Microsoft has waaaaaaaaaay passed the Time to Market window on seizing market share. Chrome is everywhere, and nobody is gonna use Edge. The fact that seeing Firefox in the wild now is surprising just goes to show how Google owns the browser monopoly like Microsoft owns the OS monopoly -
@LotsOfCaffeine
Yeah, I think they did. This talk of Edge on Linux brought MS back up in my social circles, and this came to mind again -
@SortOfTested
Oh god 😂 -
Good work! Keep on keeping on, because completion will feel so good 😄
-
Yeah, I’ve fallen asleep on my desk quite a few times. It’s not frequent, but it happens when I don’t sleep and also don’t want to leave my desk
-
@byteOverBits
The maximize thing, double click the title of the window instead of pressing maximize -
“(3) Periodic timers left in queue”
Yeah I’ve done enough JavaScript to know painless isn’t a thing -
@SevenDeadlyBugs
We are ☺️. Definitely learned this lesson the hard way, and I’m a hard ass now about automated tests as a result. Just for this one feature alone that I worked on, there were 288 more tests (generated, not hand written) to cover all the possibilities -
It's too bad you didn't call it something to do with Bumblebee, like Calm Bumblebee
-
@Root
Sup girly -
Just remember that the world is not ending. If you know you won’t hit it, communicate early, and disclose what you can complete. Your stress will slow you more than anything, so release the anxiety, and navigate it as best you can ☺️

This confused the hell out of me until I read it like:
"Why would you ever use Open Source? ..."
Now I get the facepalm -
@billgates
Pretty much. Angular is fantastic for stupid intermittent colossal breaks because of a data problem -
There's also Razer's new Huntsman keyboard with Razer's new opto-mechanical switch. The sound is VERY satisfying, and also worth a look
-
Googling and clicking the first Stack Overflow link from an error you copied?
-
@billgates
Let me know if you need help. I have my discord on my profile if you need a quicker response time than on here -
Use the npm package http-server (global install)
Run your ng build —prod —apt command, but specifically remove the “minify” from your angular.json settings
After build, run the server in the folder it built to, and replicate the issue. You should locate it easier like this. It’s a trick I use a LOT whenever I get prod-only problems -
My career stems almost solely from my fascination with hacking as a kid. That’s driven me from day one, and even though I know now that the movies are waaaaay off base, the inspiration is what I needed

@dakkarant
If you’re using Redux, store your history in a Stack (use unshift to add and shift to remove), updating your state every time the router has a navigation end event, listening the the “navigate back” hardware button as well -
@Root
Sure am 😄 -
What you using for tech? Is it a web app, or something else?
-
@asgs
Thankfully my startup is in the stage where it’s literally just me and one other person, but that sounds dreadful -
@odite
And his multiple jase clone accounts? Sure do! -
I personally approach the "focus on one thing" relying on notes, so that when I am inevitably pulled away (my role calls for it), I never forget where I was.
I have DNote open in Vim, and every (most times) 2-6 minutes I write what I am doing in a single sentence that takes less than 5 seconds to write, with the timestamp. When I discover something that needs to be done, I use Taskwarrior to write it down without leaving vim/the terminal.
So it'll be like:
20:52:02 - Writing test for feature edge-case
21:02:32 - Discovered other edge case, wrote todo test, continuing with edge-case
$ t add Resolve test case project:CurrentProject
21:12:40 - Writing test for discovered edge case
21:23:10 - Test complete, running
--- interruption
22:03 - Returning from interruption. Tests all pass. -

@AlgoRythm
Holy shit you’re still kickin around! Damn son!
Also, good work 😄
