Edit the database tables to point to the correct URL, that's how I've done it in the past.

Personally I don't play it, but I see no problem with people who want to go out and about and have fun with a game on their phone, there are a lot worse things they could be doing. Better things too maybe but everyone's entitled to some fun in this shitty world so (not at anyone in particular, just speaking generally here) if you don't like it you can Pokémon go fuck yourself.

@gashadokuro Depending on the machine, you can set them up for things like this. Maybe that's what happened and whoever done it either did by accident, was testing it or who knows! haha

Oh god, this is so cheesy it MHz.

I find it most annoying when its a common sounding problem except for a very specific reason. So you'll get hundreds of common answers for the issue but none that help your situation at all.
