						Congratulations!!

@Nanos I'm of the opinion that the hallmark of a good programmer is the ability to learn new programming languages quickly. So "I already spent years learning Java" isn't a good excuse.
-

It comes with the black hacker hoodie.
-

And here I just notice the One Piece logo in the background.
-

This was probably the work of Google Translate.
-

I think we've found the solution to world peace.
-

But what we really need is linux in a pill.
-

						My new OTP. <3
-

						Surely you meant "waifu"? 😋
-

						Headphones.
-

						I guess you'd call that a "copy-dog".

 I'll see myself out.
-

That's an amazing translator, considering that it translated to "I lost all my money" in Japanese.
-

If my tabs are that important, Ctrl+Shift+D.

Or I use a pretty nifty chrome extension called "Session Manager", which can save multiple windows too.
-

I never look up from my code so I wouldn't know.
-

Despite how strong the crunch is, as a password it's too weak.

 The poor jokes intensify.
-

						++ for Witcher 3 :P
-

@blem14 oh, that's also a great idea! Thanks!
-

						Yes. Forget everything you know.

Jk not really. Just remember that Java was meant to be idiot-proof (mostly, somewhat) while C is not. So any situation you could "let the compiler/runtime handle it" in Java, you can't in C.

@irene I'll give them a try. Any links or suggestions for chair-exercises?
-

Tea. Like, 2-3 liters of tea.

I don't like eating anything when I'm coding because I don't like to get my keyboard all sticky with food (yes, even if I use a spoon.) That, and I have this urge to rewatch some kind of anime while eating.
-

						@irene that's a great idea!
-

@blem14 nah, I suspect it's genetic or something. My father is the same, and so are most of the people on my father's side of the family.

I literally cannot remember a time when I felt more awake, or couldn't sleep because of caffeine.
-

As someone with a degree, I can attest to that.
-

						I completely and totally agree.
-

@phendark yeah, but you probably can actually code, right?
-

I find it kind of fascinating that many people seem to prefer to use white boards for their planning. No one into paper?

I keep a notebook at work which has all kinds of random notes and diagrams and flow-charts and whatnot. It helps me refer to stuff I did in the past, because I legit cannot remember what was happening in my head on Friday when I come in Monday morning.

@Vip3rDev "sudo code" 😆 But thanks for the insightful answer.
-

						@FoolsGambit @1989 unless it's Python 😋
-

Also, people who score better in paper-based "coding" tests but cannot actually code for their lives.
-

						Is this a Yu-Gi-Oh card?
