-
Atlassian do have standalone server installation of their product. Are you sure its pirated?
-
Making a mobile app game would raise more awareness. I reckon.

Happy Eid Mubarik to the dev community!

Yeah so i bought an Alienware last year which was super expensive.
I found out from the accountant that what ever i am claiming only 1/3 of it you get back per year from the ATO (Australian Tax Office). So in three years time you get the whole claim amount back. So if you expecting the entire claim amount to given back this year best to check again. -
Never voted for Liberal morons. NBN is just one of their screw ups.
-
Wow thats a major security fail!
-
There is a reason why i call them ShittyRail
-
Same here. I feel bad about not being productive in my free time all the time.
-
Eat a quick lunch and then go out for a walk for a few mins.
-
This made my day. Hillarious.
-
I feel your pain. Everyone else takes their sweet time getting the requirements and designs finalised and leave next to no time for development :/
-
I am guilty of the same thing somtimes. My workplace have 1 tester for like 20 devs. However i make the functionality available to just the users who asked for it and get them to test it early before general release. Again thats no excuse.

I experimented with Xamarin app development. Easy to create simple todo apps but i when you wanna do multiselects it had nothing builtin. Things went from a couple of hours work to days. Decided to abandon the project and move in to other stuff and wait for Xamarin Forms to gain more popularity in app community.

Australia is nice and cold this time of the year!
-
Yeah my hair started thining alot after 24 and now i am constantly hearing caps :( coz i just can't handle the change just yet. I know it shouldn't matter but i have lost some confidence as a result. It sucks.
-
👏That was creative!

They are not hashing their passwords correctly or not hashing at all. I would deactivate the account with a strong reason.

Thats a good idea. However sometimes you have to give the old company 4 weeks notice so at the end of three weeks of vacation and you like your new job you will still have to go back to the old company and spend the remainder of the 4 weeks there (after notifying them of leaving).

Phpstorm +1
A bit expensive so it took 3 years to convice my work of the advantages. -
I don't trust their app always use their website to order stuff. Tbh without paypal on that site i would have never ordered anything from them. They look super doggy.
-
Yes i don't particularly enjoy writing unit tests either! Instead i started working on building someting that will automatically do sanity check validation on the most common models. Once completed it should just just work for 80% of the backend functionally.

Visual Studio Code is another good option.
-
@Devnergy its Monday in Australia ;)

Yeah this has happened to me a lot. Sadly we don't have a process in place to stop it before spending hours looking though the code.
