    Congrats! Gotta do this myself. To be honest, I feel kinda bad for not buying it already.

    Can I see the key? I like to know if its legit. Hahaha kidding aside. Great man! Just I feel guilty I didn't buy it. πŸ˜‚

    @sharktits menyi?
  • 4
    @sharktits inkább kazán kellene most πŸ˜ƒ

    I am still not sure what to use ... So many options out there :-(

    But I appreciate you paying for software. :)

    Now, can you share the license key here? 😁😁

    What’s next? WinRAR?

    The world is going nutz
  • 2
    The guy who sends this email, sent one this month at least.

    Half a year after I got it, I switched to Vs Code. πŸ˜‚
    Honestly don't get those "lame pirate" guys. Being a hobbyist, or learning I kinda' understand cracking your tool. But as soon as you make a decent living while working 100% with it... at least don't be proud of stealing it!

    80$ well spent. Thank you for supporting them.
  • 4
    Next step is to buy buy winrar :D
  • 0
    @ymihaylov apt-get install rar unrar ;)

    @Rohr JetBrains has products for everything, but it's quite expensive

    Don't waste your money on a license
  • 1
    So you buying outdated no longer developed software... OK...
  • 5
    When you buy it, they should have some stats on how many times you ignored the trial upgrade message, lol. Like "You clicked cancel 1754 times". 🀣
  • 9
    @HampusMa It's not a waste. You're supporting further development of software you find useful. And $80 is not even a full day's pay for one developer. You spend just as much in a month if you get your morning coffee from Starbucks/local coffee shop every other day. Don't be cheap!
  • 7
    @RTRMS It seems to be very actively developed for not being a developed software...

    @veneno yeah, don't try to search for it on Gist either, you'll definitely get a Trojan Horse, and it'll stay even after updating ST. xD

    Why did my comment with a license get downvoted? What the heck.

    @xewl because what?

    Nothing, has ever made me use sublime. I have touched it on colleagues' systems though, but that's as far as the relationship goes.

    VS Code just doesn't let the need arise. Anyways good for you.
  • 5
    @HampusMa Do you really want the rant? Please don't ask the obvious (: We don't need devRant to be an infestation of information that's
    1. already readily available on the www.
    2. illegal, man.

    Keep your inner pirate out of here. (:
    And read the TOS.
  • 2
    @HampusMa because it's trash. People must earn money. Imagine you as a employee in corporation with revenue 0. I hope you are happy now
  • 1
    @rodhin I would've guessed the reason for that is sublime suits his needs better than vim does, although I use nvim myself

    @GoodRockqq @Rohr
    If you are a student you can register as student into their site
    You get all the professional versions free. ☺️
  • 2
    @Daveloper yes I know, I'm using it already
  • 1
    @Daveloper i sae that online, but I am not a student :-( never made it that far ... Nah, I choosed not to be a student. So my fault :)

    @samuelpearson don't get carried away.
  • 1
    @samuelpearson although I haven't bought it myself, sublime does deserve it

    Visual Studio Code is another good option.
