@badcopnodonuts i'm asking in general programming communities
-
@CptFox cool, your stack is much different than mine and I respect that you're having more success/higher productivity with using other system than me
Also
I WISH I EVER GOT TOLD THAT BACK BY A LINUX USERR 😭 -
@NoMad no, no, that's just bs. Do you really know anyone who paid for a Windows license in the past 5 years? I don't.
Linux "experts" are only gonna lead you to their sweet home system, which works way shittier in every aspect, except for it's good because it's not Windows
Then you're gonna get left behind
And I know they might have a reason for that because Microsoft made it's mistakes but it's been doing outstanding work for years.
I did give Linux a honest try and it's problems on every move. Just doing a clean install with nothing installed is a pain. Getting the graphic driver working and fixing the sh*t that comes preinstalled is a pain. For me, not even the reboot/shutdown buttons work in Linux by default
Linux is only free if your time is worth nothing. Time you're gonna spend everyday figuring out how to fix every system problem
Long live open source community! 😊 -
Did you lose your mind
-
that's why lmao
-
omg this rant is so cute in a way
-
@aEEEdev if that's your productivity formula, I'd set the temp to 20.(9) for infinite productivity :)
-
it's not in school btw, its private teaching I have a group of 12 kids
-
With R#, he means ReSharper.
-
what Windows are you using??? Windows blocks current audio output from all apps after a device was unexpectedly disconnected.
-
I managed to restore using timeshift but it seems like it only restored user apps, not system settings... useless...
-
@fuck2code I would absolutely followbyour guide but I'm unable to launch Live CD, again. Boots for a while then says "Unknown boot device error"
-
@darkLord all distros just say "kernel error 19" after inserting the live CD. I am unable to type any command or do anything. Normal or compatibility mode, any settings. Where is the UEFI support?
@fuck2code bashing both I think. Tell me about the fix pls? How to either restore keyboard layout or restore snapshot or unbreak/get to any desktop environment without having to use keyboard -
So, 450$ is 607$?
-
For every new version I burn a CD
-
@bkwilliams uninstall and reinstall. Luckily, for JetBrains IDEs all settings and plugins etc are kept
No, sfc is fine this is a well configured build. -
@Kimmax no, its changes in Windows itself which broke these apps. Like some builds can't launch some games and they fix it next update etc
Also, VS is their own app... -

Never seen it before and happy I immediately figured it out :)
(a + b)(a - b) = b(a - b)
evolves to
a^2 - ab + ab - b^2 = ab - b^2
which is
a^2 = ab
No way you got a + b = b. You got the invalid result by dividing by 0 -
I'd pay for @linuxxx ' provided VPN service too, with pleasure :)
(as long as my student budget allows me to... ) -
Got your videos for main page yet?
-
No machine learning? 3/10, wouldn't invest
-
I've never had the chance to try Linux before (I work with WinAPI) but I wanted to try it on my intel/nvidia laptop. No dice booting up any of the distributions. Even in safe mode :'(
-
Looking forward to it, looks very good. But I'm saying that bcs im young and adapt to change easily. Lots of devs I know would revert to Win 98 UI if they could :P
-
Yup im a student too and my last test was basically "write quicksort, insertion sort etc" you have memorized before
-
Thanks for 2^9 ++ bois
Gotta keep it a round number! -
@RantSomeWhere no, you're wrong, Xposed installed even over Magisk still trips SafetyNet when its active, due to Zygote process modification I just mentioned
-
Magisk will modify /system without actually putting files there, im not entirely sure how that works but sounds kinda like symbolic links
as for xposed, you can install it via Magisk but axtive Xposes replaxes the Zygote process with its own and SafetyNet checjs the Zygote process. So there is no way to have Xposes and active AND bypass SafetyNet -
@linuxxx seriously, how do you live, somebody from work or a friend emails you a link to google sheets you need to see what do you do?
