Mrs. Rowsdower tends to only get that flag when I'm trying to work on something or trying to read before bed. Oh, and during sports.
-
This one still cracks me up...
-
I do my best coding in the shower or on the road.

Especially on certain work systems where you get locked out after too many mistakes... It's too much of an embarrassment to have to call the help desk to get my account reset.
-
Used to drink coffee, but I think the free shite at the office gave me an ulcer. HiCaf Tea for me!
-
Reminds me more of Fallout.

The only reason chrome is hotter is all that memory it's burning through.

The same boat. It appears that we are all in it.

Have a ++, I needed that laugh.

Loot Crate?

That just makes you a dev. 🤓

Nope, but I do have a five-year-old (who is not allowed to touch daddy's laptop, but that has yet to stop the constant cloud of debris that surrounds all kids that age) and a rather long beard that I tend to twirl when I'm thinking.

Much appreciated!

The sticker collection is growing! No cons or meetups in the near future, guess it's time to start ordering some of the ones on my wishlist! (Of course, devRant was the inaugural sticker...)

Let us know how it goes, I've heard too many "it bricked my machine" stories, so imma wait for the next patch.

"She's from Canada, you haven't met her." 😂

And article, header, footer, etc. The only issue is that the semantics constantly shift. I preach semantic markup, it's just a constantly moving target.

The div is like our duct tape.
-
yeah, not getting that job. :(

I specifically added a line to my standard agreement that says I will not guarantee functionality in IE<10. 🤓

I always sort of just figured that code was universally in English, kind of how all commercial pilots have to speak it. I'm just going to chalk that one up to American ignorance.
-
@CodingPrincess that sounds exactly like my first job in the industry. You need to get out ASAP. That combination of tasks is poison.
-
Definitely the most untrustworthy format I've ever dealt with.
-
while we've only had < 1℅ of traffic this fiscal year (March - now) come from ie9, it's contributed a sizeable (I can't say how much. but it's a very large number) in sales from IE9 alone.

Sometimes you must unthink in order to truly think. I've solved many a problem in my sleep, or in the shower.
-
Throw a spouse/partner and a kid or two into the mix... at least when I buy games they're only a few bucks used at GameStop, and I know which ones ended up being duds.

Good CSS is more than just pushing pixels, mate. To do it right, you need to have a full understanding of the DOM, how the cascade works, how to optimize your sheets so a not to slow down page speed, and support hundreds of displays and browser capabilities. CSS is an art _and_ a science.
