@1nfiniteLoop check "nixie clock kit" on Ebay. You can probably buy an assembled one, but soldering everything is quite fun ^^

What is the power usage of that thing? I'd love to try something like that with my kids. But that would want to leave it on, and that kind of thing looks pretty expensive to run all the time :D
