Yeah sadly there’s no support from management.
-
@retoor what’s that? I sent you an email an hour ago and you fixed it? I don’t remember that at all I’ll figure it out when I have time next week then ask for more fucking updates that don’t make sense
-
Oh trust me, I know I could save myself the trouble, I just... didn't.
-
@jelleken Exactly. It's exactly that kind of bullshit. 😂
-
@Quirinus I've got that one at like 300.
-
@helloworld I'll check those. I say them in php.ini but not in an .htaccess.
-
I'm using Apache, and yeah I've got that set as well. It's bizarre - I've set every variable that should be relevant and it doesn't seem to make a difference.
-
I did that at first too to be honest - I checked that, and it works like a dream for small files under 2 MB.
-
It's never defining $_FILES - my guess is that it never makes it as far as /tmp
-
I've only got one version installed - I'll triple check that, but I've only got the php.ini in /etc/php/7.2
-
I have set memory_limit. And I restarted the whole machine, so desperate I was.
-
Just to be clear this is a legitimate cry for help I'm losing my mind.
-
@AmyShackles Yeah I learned that the hard way too after a couple dozen stupid migration/static file issues.
-
Yeah turns out it was the hosting platform. I deployed to Heroku and it worked spotlessly.
-
I'd say about 92% certain. But I hadn't thought to look.
-
And only the network admins get admin. 🙃
-
I'm doing ASP.net development as an intern
-
Not only is this a legitimate project, the concept itself is incredibly important. I'm sure somebody's already done something similar but I'd be willing to contribute if possible.
-
It's too late for this... I sat here for ten minutes staring at this rant. I pondered the universe and everything in it; I contemplated how time had taken this exact path to this is exact moment where this is a thing; I wept bitter tears as my brain fractured.
-
@owithg All of the emojis were really arbitrary. After a little while it almost became kind of a case of "the less sense it makes the better"
-
@CWins Absolutely nobody needed it but boundless self-loathing and desire to better understand our art form won out. 😂
-
The way I always learn new languages/tools is to take some nontrivial side project that will sort of force me to immerse myself in the language. I've had the most success learning languages by just giving myself a reason to dive in head first.
-
@SpencerBeige looks pretty good for obfuscation though
-
I always know I've been working on a project too long for one sitting when I type "git" instead of "sudo"
I'll go to update the system and the first word I instinctively type is git, leading to some mutilated travesty like "git apt update" -
@Alt-Grrr I had a professor who read #include lines as "hashtag include" and it made my heart scream.
-
....you know, the man has a point.
-
Seriously though I love python but the whole point is that it's easy to pick up code and run with it.
-
shhhhh... sleep, sweet prince.
-
@trogus They get you with that and they get you with the "hey look I can make it easy to publish a website!" They capitalize on people hearing the word "code" and getting majorly skittish.
-
@NeatNerdPrime I did manage to complete it but it was a major pain
