@Floydian the reason why I dislike Java is because the syntax is not intuitive and it's very very wordy.

It's not that I cannot use Java it's just when I use it I want to punch a hedgehog.

@IllSlapU because no Mathematics are going to be use its why people store zip codes as strings. Sure you can make it an int but why? There is no value in doing do. It's safer and better design to store as string.

No reason it should be an int. If you are not doing math then store as a string. Go to your teacher and ask what kind of math are they going to use with a isbm?

There is only one downside to Ruby. Once you use it, all other languages suck except python

@amahlaka google MLH and they have a list of hackathons in USA. Not sure if you are not in the states. There are several that happen locally in Atlanta Ga that are advertised on eventbrite and meetup

Well this guy doesn't need to make himself himself look good. If everyone already knows who you are there is no need to make a fancy website saying how awesome you are.
