Pff my desktop runs WITHOUT a battery!
-
I swear to god ww3 will be a cyber war triggered by this god forsaken argument.
-
@Jase if you know python and live around West Yorkshire area let me know!
-
Psshh I can do that in my terminal window!
-
I think you missed out the word "not" at the end of your rant.
-
Django is awesome! Hope that you're working on python3 as it makes life a hell of a lot easier!
-
My CTO googled for "Segmentation Fault python django"
His LinkedIn states "over 10 years of experience working with Linux based systems" -
Whoa whoa whoa I like Jira, mostly because of how complex it is and how much I can do with it!
If I ever need to "complete" trello cards I'll probably kill someone. -
Bill Gates in the bg?
-
@hourd unfortunately so, yes.
-
So I'm assuming you haven't seen 80% of my comments
-
@hourd same here but it's a real shame that it doesn't have and debs aren't interested in mercurial support :(
When it comes to atlassian - it runs on Java what did you expect? -
@kong you mean diodes and Kensington locks?
-
@MakubeX pretty much. We keep original (source) files in said bucket that we use to generate other ones.

If your team feels like you feel then I'd personally set up a meeting with him and management and set things straight. If they have any idea on what's good for the future of said company (I'm assuming this project is important since it's been worked on for so long) they will listen to you and what you have to say as long as you have valid points and you believe in what you're saying.
Saying that if the company is mainly sales oriented then you might want to dust off your cv before making moves like that. -
@Letmecode bet it's @trogus
-
@mohitsharma44 @kb88 woah thanks guys I didn't even know people read those.
-
@MrDhont it's easier to write software that builds robots than a robot that writes software - take it from a pro! (I built a quad copter... once, it started flying flew away, some say it lost connection, I say it achieved AI)
-
You can be our devil or our angle.
(I hope peeps use memes here) -
@drumfreek31 they sent me a codility test... So what happens next, if I pass that stage? Do they come in for an interview onto the ward?
-
It's just in case a company will ask you to do a codility set of tests
-
@samster I don't know what's going on but I hope it'll be online so I can catch up after work!
-
@linuxer4fun I'd assume that instead of having job listings you'd have developer profile listings and companies/clients would bet to hire a developer. Now obviously more experienced guys will get a better deal but that's beyond the scope of this conversation :p
-
Floppies, DVD, USB, Cloud and now.. Ocean?
-
@andersoyvind I'd take that with a grain of salt
-
Guys chill it's ipv5 :v
-
