I aliased v to vi, vi to vim and vim to nvim. Don't ask me why I did it that way.
-
@mundo03 Good point actually!
-
@baeovvulf tp is a command we invented. You can use it to quickly cd to a directory that you often use, without having to write the full path.
Edit: what ruhe just said while I was typing -
@ruhe That's really cool! I might try it out. (or maybe I'll stick with my own zsh config for now)

21: Developers who can't count

I tried installing android-x86 on my laptop. Can't get Wi-Fi to work.
-
@Stuxnet I'm glad they started selling phones with near stock android too. They can actually really decent phones.
-
@ScaryException You're right, there's no need to panic this early. We don't know their exact plans of how they will do it either.
-
I just don't get how it's possible that pretty much all the European citizen are unable to stop them, because we have literally nothing to say. How can it even be legal for them to make such decisions about our lives when no one wants it? This makes me feel so frustrated. And yes, we could all go on the streets and protest, but no one seems to care enough.
-
@ScaryException Yeah, I agree with you. It almost feels like Europe is becoming the next China if they keep going like this.
-
@elcore As if a normal citizen has anything to say in the EU... They won't listen anyway.
-
@elcore Looks like my country (Belgium) is sceptical about it. That's good news for me at least I guess.
-
@ScaryException So we've got a couple of months left. Or maybe even years, it's still the European Union after all.
-
Is it time to buy a VPN yet?

A tp command to "teleport" into a commonly used directory. E.g. tp doc, tp dev, tp home.
s, syu, r for yay / pacman
py and depy for python venv
n for nnn (file manager)
nh for nnn with hidden files
c = code . (Open VS Code in the current directory)
i3c, polybarc, termitec, zshrc, ... for quickly editing dotfiles.
And a couple more I guess -
We're learning how to translate C to Assembly in the first week of university. Meanwhile some other dude started learning us python. I almost fell asleep...
-
@Irithyll I understand, but I don't like proprietary software that isn't free and I'm sick of libreoffice crashing every time I try to move a freaking image. And also, the inconsistency in Word/Libreoffice. LaTeX is a lot more consistent IMO. Markdown is great for simple documents and very easy to write.
-
And that is why I use Markdown or LaTeX
-
@deadPix3l Maybe it's a way to get more control. I don't know, I guess we'll see, but I've moved to Gitlab anyway.
-
I fixed it, had to remove a file I created in an attempt to make Android tethering work. TIL I can fix a broken system without a live USB drive. (and that I shouldn't blindly copy stuff from archwiki without reading about what I'm actually doing)
-
I'm completely lost, it says "Failed to start network service", but I disabled systemd-networkd...
-
@dufferz I'm using refind with a fancy looking theme that hides a lot of things. Maybe there's some kind of keybind or something idk. Edit: apperently pressing f2 twice should do the trick.
-
@skprog What? No, I just broke stuff, I think I shouldn't have created a duplicate connection in networkmanager. It seems to have broken something. Just me being derpy. I don't have any USB drive here.
-
@YourNemesis had the same issue, thanks for the link!
-
@njpugh90 and if you're an arch user you're an arch user :D (I'm sorry)
-
@lxmcf it's really great! Have I told you I use Arch? You should try it.
-
@beegC0de that sounds odd, I don't really know
-
@beegC0de I don't know about webassembly, but it works with mode and/or babel.
