Does anybody here uses warm display colours at night while working to sleep better? Does it work?

    Flux works great for me

    I recently started using this. Only noticeable thing is I am up after 4 hours sleep. I think 5.5 hours was my average previously.

    Also discovered quiet hours - love it. No more pinging.

    I don't know about sleeping better but its definitely easier on the eyes.

    Yeah, the sleep thing is questionable. But looking at a screen without it now is eye scorchingly unpleasant.

    Using sleep() is an antipattern.

    Seriously though, short run -> warm shower -> book with soft mood lights & hot chocolate milk is the best. Prepare at T-1h before sleep. No backlit screens at all.

    No, because I don't work at night. :)

    After a recent update for my S7 I've been using blue light filter every evening/night.
    It removes much of the blue light, just like F.lux does on PC. You can schedule it to turn on automatically too, which is what I'm using.

    I use flux and I like it but I have friends that just wear gunnars all day (and into the evening) infront of their computers- so that's an option to consider too.

    I have been having sleeping troubles for years now. The only thing that seems to get me asleep is the dread of the next working day, or an episode of family guy.
