@antigermgerm permaculture is growing plants naturally like nature intended it
it's knowing which plants make good habitats for other plants. cultivating the correct soil bacteria that will modulate pH/acidity and moisture
it's also the way you can make an oasis in a desert. takes about 3 years, maybe 20 if you suck
and then that oasis will keep being an oasis forever after that because you built a self-sustaining ecosystem. up until someone dumps toxic waste or something in it
I don't actually know much about it but I want to learn it so desperately. after I get enough money to have land though. it's big in the truther/prepper communities (conspiracy theorists). they're all about independent self-sustaining systems. which is pretty interesting because lefty communist types sometimes dive into that, too!
there's a bunch of books on it also, I've seen their covers -
Hmmm tempting, but will there be goats? You know end goal stuff

retoor83541dIf you get enough animo, I would consider it. Did you ever realize that I almost already live like that? And yes - it's great. If everyone here would be a dev, a total paradise.

@Lensflare well that's pretty much it. The point is to wait for death, grow plants, feed birds, finally live our retarded lives in peace
Guys I'm launching a retired dev camps. Let's just pool a few thousand each, buy a piece of land and a couple of tipi in spain near the surf spot, grow weed and do contract jobs and finally enjoy life.
