Feeling so depressed. Colleagues are leaving one by one

I'm very frustrated at my job. Nobody gives a shit to work and don't have technical knowledge. My colleague keeps on battering the peers. And colleagues are discussing everything without me.
So trying to switch company but no luck in a year. And I have stopped working at my job. Gives me serious anxiety.

This gets me all the time.

I realized that I'm spending about 2 hours in the taxi so I told myself that I I gotta make use of this time and started reading books about pentest and such.
After a while I noticed that this is not working as expected. Because the stuff I was trying to learn by just reading books were mostly practical and I had to see how they really work (like running the codes and so on)
So I reviewed my long term plans and oh! All the topics are practical !

So I'm asking you:
What are the useful topics that I can learn by just reading or what are the other ways I can make use of this time?

I’m a civil engineer working in IT and this is the view from my new office, watching the construction work every day and think did I take the right decision.

Backups is the most important thing, but there is something more important then that. Making sure your actually backing up the files your paying to back up. Now im stuck waiting on 4 2tb drives in raid 6 connected over sata 2 to be recovered because a raid card failed but the drives are still good. Estimated time over 3 days.
