Want some feedback?
I think when a beginner wants to find your tutorials they won't search for "Apache MySQL PHP", but for "Simple Website not Wix", so to get a hit from those you should have mentioned these in a short introduction.
Furthermore I missed the introduction for each post summarizing what should be the setup so far and what's going to get achieved. Put it in simple words for people who are just starting out, that's who your guides are for.
Plus you should maybe explain what your commands actually do. Some windows users don't even know what apt-get is.
Ok I'll just leave this here, you can ignore it if you don't agree 😉 -
@irene and there are many dual SIM phones around.
-
DO IT!!
vm sucks.
But there should be Bootcamp or something for dual boot.
Anyways why would you go back? Arch-love forever 😍 -
I always wonder, what bots should tick if they do encounter such a page. They are not allowed to go on? That's discriminating!
-
I learned on DevRant that SVG is "savage", so why not hatamal?
Although IMO "Hate' em all" would be a better match. -
It's 2017. It's fucking ridiculous to ask for things like this.
It's like to ask someone to sum lots of huge numbers. It's something basically easy and possible, but computers are much better with it and it will never be required to do it manually.
The workflow when someone actually writes code in an IDE is so completely different, as it contains shortcuts and feedback from the compiler/linter.
If someone will ask me to write code next time I will put the vim input sequence I would type to create that code. -
We should be happy they don't know as much about us as we think.
Or try just behave as if...
Or, what I think is the main problem, they simply don't have the right amount of the target group compared to the amount of product consumers. -
@billgates see RAPPOR used in chromium. Privacy + analytics done right.
-
Even worse: 3 out of 10 believe HTML is a programming language!

@linuxxx
You should read "Cookieless Monster: Exploring the Ecosystem of Web-Based Device Fingerprinting".
With exotic or halfway blocked/manipulated metadata like user agent settings you are even more trackable than with your defaults.
Not saying that the use of vpn & ghostery & ... is bad, but it has to be done right. -
Definitely possible.

@jalebiBhai maybe a closure? But sounds wrong to lock the girlfriend away :D

Write a failing test! Takes 1 minute.

I prefer the example with the pregnancy:
A project manager is someone who believes that nine women can give birth to a child in one month -
If I may translate:
"Warning! You are using Internet Explorer." -
@mzeffect either react is too picky about PRs or the users want to clone, but click on fork instead
-
"Always code as if the guy who ends up maintaining your code will be a violent psychopath who knows where you live."
John Woods -
It's not illegal or unethical to write proprietary software using Linux Kernel.
Which is open source.
The question about using open source tools is silly, even in an ethical way. -
Can I please see a test for the inconsistency function?
-
@Piwaye yeah and maybe someone ranted about it already, so it would be a rerant...
-
@Piwaye time for a rant about it?
-
5. Use stress to access programs
-
Well if you use React it will not touch the DOM if the variable is not bound/used to any component.
I'm quite sure that's not what you meant though... You want to do something the framework is not made for.
Declarative programming creates a view for every state. Skipping a state is going against the paradigm. -
@Michelle maybe you just post the code and we can help you out
.
...just kidding
But I would actually be interested why it would work with an id instead of a class. Maybe because in js you get an array returned? -
!necrobump
Using git seems annoying and weird in the beginning, but once you have the possibility to go back to a working version of your project, it can be a lifesaver!
Try to use it, you will anyways have to when you work in a team one day. -

@PrivateGER then help out at other's project first. Many great open source projects crave for helpers
