Participated in an IEEE Hackathon where we built a line following robot. We were the slowest, but we had the most accuracy.

The image is our first attempt at getting it to work, consequently, we were the first team to actually get a prototype finished and working. Other people were trying to cram as many sensors as possible. We stuck with one, and 47 lines of code to make it work. Everyone else had more than 2 sensors and I can only imagine how much code they had.

My parents r pretty helpful with me programming. They r very supportive 😊😊

I even tell my mom how things work and she takes a lot of interest in understanding as well! She is my own rubber ducky ❤️❤️

My dad is busy and not a tech minded person so he is kinda ignorant about tech, but never stops encouraging me 😊😊

I was in McDonald's and annoyed to see queues for all the self-service machines. I noticed one of them had nobody queueing though. Several people walked up to it, looked for two seconds, then just walk away. So naturally I had a look myself, and I saw that it was just a string displaying a bit wrongly. Hah!

So I walk up, close that order then make my own. Nothing at all wrong with it, people just have no clue about how computers work. Nobody even tried pressing the buttons after seeing that.

Of course I put it back to the broken screen before I left. I like chaos.

Yes, support isn't the greatest and a lot of games don't work on Linux yet and some graphical drivers don't work.

But don't fucking say you can't game on Linux because you fucking can.

Steam has a Linux game library that keeps on growing and growing.
There are some platforms for games especially for Linux as well even.

I've seen steam games with freaking high requirements run with any lag on Linux computers - open source amd drivers worked well.

The support could be much better (of games/drivers) but YOU CAN FUCKING GAME ON LINUX.

THAT YOUR GAME DOESN'T RUN ON LINUX DOES NOT MEAN THAT NO SINGLE GAME DOES.

So far I've checked various chips for visible damage, and nothing except a blown fuse on both machines. Apparently it takes dual 9vAC and single 5vDC. The 9 powers the SID and the video output, the VIC-II heatsink is off, and I've tested the PSU voltages and one of the 9v's is dead. I'll be getting new fuses and a new PSU soon. Any recommendations on other things to check or things to do when they're done? Pic included because why not.

After lots of interviews and waiting and hard work just got something similar to my dream job.

I am so happy. Thanks for all your success rants they gave me the motivation to keep going when it seems there was no hope.
