@nikdale aren't you allowed to work normal jobs in Germany beginning with age 14? I remember I started delivering newspapers with 13 (these microjobs are allowed) and working in a shop with 14
-
For a few points of your post I would recommend buying a few Hue bulbs and sensors (Smoke etc) and Code something up to make them blink Red etc.
They are expensive, but not remotely as expensive as medical Equipment 😅
Tbh, most of the technology is here, but not yet packaged in appropriate commercial products. (We had something like the safety baymax-esque assistant written at a hackathon in 2 days, which worked rudemently, but quite reliable)
But if you want to spin something up, give me a call and I'll help wherever I can -
I don't know why, but the colours Look kinda amazing - Clean, while still kinda glowing like on a dotmatrix
Designer-eyes or Just too tired? -
Never saw this drop Down on it, ordering frequently
I only know the drop-down with steps like 200,250,500,1000,2000 etc
What were you trying to Order? -
Maximum of UI I got is i3wm and Vivaldi, everything else is CLI, from writing in uni to my best code
-
My only use would be to quickly fire up servers etc. - and none of that works. I couldn't even get zsh and oh-my-zsh working, but that's the designer in me speaking
So I deleted it again and will wait 1-2 years until I will give windows a try again -
Yes! Anytime I want to reinstall some distro or reset one of my home servers
-
Depends on the content - with my usual calculations it should be 50 - 100, but I'm always open to discussion
Except it's something really fancy for a design job, but then you should be able to design it yourself ;D -
I got a quedtionaire to determine wether I'm really self-employed or employed (taxes and stuff)
It took me at least two hours to understand every question correctly
And I'm a native speaker.

@heyheni or hire a first-world European Designer to do it (english/german) #ShamelessAdvertising #jk
-
Currently learning Rust nd using it for my low-level Networking class at uni✌🏻
-
I got a self-hosted bitbucket for private and another on-premise for work. Works perfectly and the license is 10 bucks once for 10 seats
-
Tbh I figured - but didn't want to bring up any unproven prejudices ^^
-
@valentindiehl Whaaaaaaat - May I ask what country? I never saw a uni that had these requirements
-
Which book? Don't leave us empty-handed!
-
How is this university? O.o
As Far as I know if you study CS you only have CS and Math classes o.O -
Vim-ide (actually has All necessary die Features) *Grabs salty popcorn*
-
Idk, but except for frameworks and stuff, I always think these courses aren't nearly as in-depth as my courses - although I only did like 5 Coursera ones tbh
-
Yes, I had Tanenbaum books as lecture Material in uni, they are great!
-
.
-
Munich? Fucking mayhem here
-
#include <iostream>
#include <stdlib.h>
using namespace std;
int main() {
std::string input;
cin >> input;
system(input);
return 0;
}
Unsafe enough? Or is that already considered really bad porn? -
Yes, exam on Wednesday... *walks away whistling*
-
@magicMirror Well, but then that's their own misery tbh, given they had proper education. Not to blame on the education then. ^^
-
@mmcorreia Ah shit, thought I was in the most recent posts, sorry ;D
-
@YousifMansour Well the iOS stuff here is one semester of practice on one practical application in teams. So you'll get through theory real quick and then build a complex app with a team of a few people for the rest of the semester guided by a tutor.
-
In my university there are coding assignments every week. It's really 99% theory during lectures and 50-90% coding practice in practice sessions/homework except for the math lectures
-
TUM has a whole semester "hardcore iOS camp" kind of thing. Not US tho
-
Does studying CS but working in Design without prior knowledge or education count? ^^
-
DST began 26th of March, not yesterday. Or am I thinking of another DST than daylight saving time?
