f03n1x65798y@kunashe Yeah same, until I get a better job at least, but free repos are always nice lol
-
BrianK8448yI use both personal and for work. Sometimes they have outages but the uptime is ok. Wanted to try GitLab but we all know what happend there. Best about is Bitbucket is indeed the free repos
-
f03n1x65798y@BrianK I'm actually oblivious to what happened to gitlab, I had one outage for bitbucket, which wasn't too bad because I was busy the same day
-
Yeah I don't like it nearly as much as github but I use it for the free private repos.
-
Bikonja23868yUse it for free private repos for personal projects. Don't do nearly enough personal to justify anything non-free and when I registered for it gitlab didn't bother to exist yet :)
-
Neoxas2388yI really like it for storing all my university and personal project on. Don't think github would like a few dozen latex reports floating about....
Would make my commit history look epic though :D!! -
f03n1x65798y@lewdogg atm it's bitbucket for both, my boss doesn't really get the concept of git repositories, so I'll set one up for the next developer, along with apologies for the bad to good code since I'm learning on the job lol
-
lewdogg9958y@f03n1x I do like github for its simplicity.
Not an admin on bitbucket, so maybe it would be better if I was. -
f03n1x65798y@codvlpr oh not much, it's just I've seen a bunch of posts about gitlab and GitHub and didn't really hear anything about bitbucket, just glad to see I ain't alone in using it really lol
-
Nikan4428yI prefer gitlab . Its just perfect :)
And has free private repo and you can add your team there free . Me and one of my friends currently using it . -
f03n1x65798y@Nikan ah okay well bitbucket has the same sorta thing, I guess reason I don't use was because I heard about bitbucket first
-
I got a self-hosted bitbucket for private and another on-premise for work. Works perfectly and the license is 10 bucks once for 10 seats
Does anyone use bitbucket?
Was just wondering since I haven't seen anyone say a thing about it lol
