Who the fuck cares about tickets closed per day is high or not.
Is the customers satisfied? That's what matters. -
Headphones.

No one. and i mean literally no one, can push your buttons like family can.

GLS usually displays a message saying something along the lines of "A label was generated by the sender, but has not yet been been deposited at a GLS depot/warehouse" when these mails are sent out.
I only always see the message in danish, so don't blame me for the incorrect English translation. -
@Berkmann18 Some electricity company reportedly.
-
Converting jQuery to vanilla JS is usually pretty fucking easy.
Nonetheless if the solution works you probably got the concept od how to solve the problem at hand. -
Someone mind translating that into a human readable language?
-
Stay the fuck away from Themeforest and TemplateMonster.
Unless you want the site hacked within a week, that is :) -
I would love to ditch facebook all together, but the client pays for a facebook page feed integration.
-
This image is intentionally made look confusing.
Look at rm, why is it explained twice? -
Wrong and wrong.
I always just plug it in, wait a few minutes then i'm ready to dump my files. -
@jesse-bryant Please do :D
-
@dder I'd say this classifies as the rant about what I've named my phone.
-
@dder Yes this is what I named my phone.
It's odd enough to be unique. And yet people understand the reference -
Just disable JavaScript, cant detect adblockers without

@PonySlaystation as one who is absolutely disgusted by composer and hate it with a passion; I'm actually glad that WP hasn't yet been infected by such.
I don't mind writing a require(); in the top of my files.
As I see it that's no different from 'import a from b' or '#include stdio.h' -
@PonySlaystation I can agree with the URL thing is just dump, and using unique urls as GUIDs is just a momentary brainfart..
I have yet to experience one of the WordPress sites I have made being hacked.
Though ask me about the ones from a "themeforest developer" and I tell you another story. -
WordPress can be a damn good CMS, and scale really well. If the developer is competent enough to know what plugins to use, and what not to use.
With that in mind, I usually spend half the time on projects with WordPress than with Drupal8 or symfony.
But if it's the kind of "developer" that buys a package from themeforest slam the "top 5 best WordPress plugins" into the mix...
Ohh boy.. -
I disable JavaScript, can't detect adblockers without js.
-
Just set it to a static color.

The swear word density is good in this one.

Hello world

Amen brother.. amen. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Needs REST to recover
-
I eventually spend some time looking at it, and it looks like something that is relatively easy could be replaced by a SQL query.
But that function is so engrained in the system that my fear of doing so is overwhelming,. due to the number os possible bugs i'd introduce -
@Kashmir I don't quite know what the function does, but it's called filterList(); and spans ~300 lines.of if's and loops.
The system is a customer system that keeps tracks of customers and orders and data about customers.
Made in a hella old version of codeigniter
(It's a client system, not our own, and one we inherited from a previous dev) -
@shoop Then why bother commenting.. I'd have been faster to just scroll on.
