!rant very happy to see a development at my uni towards having programming(+related courses) being more and more examined throughout the course through assignments and seminars where you have to explain what you did and why. I think this is a much more suitable solution for some courses best done with practise than having a paper based exam.

Somehow, every skill I have seems to decrease as the number of people around me increase.

I always write a Google Doc before I start developing a feature to help me think what and how should I implement it and so I can share it with the team.

It is possibly the most frustrating process of the whole development cycle because Word and Google Docs still manage to make it a fuckin ordeal to insert a simple image without bombing the whole text to hell. How is it that after almost 30 years of history it is still shit to write a document?

1. Indent with 3 spaces to fuck both tabs guys and spaces guys git repos.

2. Use windows line endings and laugh and laugh and laugh.

3. Giant full page ascii art intro on every single file.

4. After the giant ascii art intro there are literally zero comments.

5. Keep the bracket on the same line for getters, but on the next line for setters because fuck you.

Wifi printer is installed, CUPS test page works, even scanning works. But printing anything else results in the printer spitting out raw postscript with a few random lines per page.

Great. Looks like I'll have to print to PDF, then go to a copy shop and print because printing under Linux is still an unsolved issue.

And yes, that would have worked even with Windows 10. Fuck.
