@erandria so I had a conversation with my manager about the team. He said that whatever I don’t see I have to get it implemented and provide functional training for. Perfect I love it, I told him about the lack of teamcity, communication within the team, the lack of git and the reasoning I got was that since the project is only 1.5-2 years old there was no time setup a process. Also okay I guess I understand. Here’s the real kicker, he said since you have had experience with the firms deployment tech stack (mind you I only started this job in August) I should be the one to implement this, alongside my usual work from the ALM.... I just hope these devs will follow this.

@ezbie pineapple upside down cake! Or pina colladas 😏
-
@nmunro @enzian as a update, I finally got over, I know it's been long since I got back but there hasn't been a week when I don't read this thread thank you guys.
-
This would be a great project, also i can throw wordpress out of my life! I’ll be down to commit and work on this!
-
Personal projects plus number of applications = internships
-
It should be amusing if anything, just the while maybe not.
-
@fyroc you are an amazing god sent angel. $3 bucks a month for hosting?!!?! I'm advertising at my uni for you is there material on your site?
-
@BirdLawExpert I think that's what the op is trying to come up with
-
Same thing happened to me at a hackathon there was a fire drill and someone knocked my caramel latte over onto my air I was swabbing that stuff out for days took off all the key caps and all. Took it to Louis Rossman the next day since I was in New York said he couldn't do anything it would cost more to replace and clean rather than just getting used same model year one. That was last year and I'm still using the same air today. I even had a kernel error just let it sit for a couple days in a way that anything that needs to drain out does so.
-
I want to be kept updated with the process let me know how far you get or if you need help.
-
@nicnaknic already working on app for that with my friend. And it won't just be for devs but also other fields as well. It about time we have information about these companies sorta like a background check on them.
-
@philcr you sound like my team lead he would get so frustrated because people kept interrupting him so he bought noise canceling headphones and now he does all the work since he finishes his tickets so fast and I'm looking for a new job because I am not being challenged.
-
Dude the sad part is we've all in one way or the other have been there. I lived out of my car for one semester during school. Life is good at handing lemons and now I'm good at making everything from lemon cake to lemonade. Sit down write the shit down that you need to do take everything one by one pretty soon you'll be at the top of the pyramid.
-
@AJRodz or just the money and a raise
-
@macbury the one true and only use!
-
@Gatgeagent fifth it
-
The ++ was for Michael English but aside from that awesome job dude I'm going to try and program that for a hackathon let's see how far I get
-
This is awesome
-
@DeveloperACE must've been the pilot trying to get his skills down.
-
@orijin yep @lojigh is corrected other than computers and dev im a huge piston head. The autobhan is great because it has some parts that are not speed restrictive. Just to go 120 on a public highway legally is a awesome feeling I live for that stuff. It's as good as getting my code to compile and run in the first try.
-
Eyyy buddy! How's the autobhan system I hope to drive on that one day for fun muhahahaha lol
-
The first commit at the new job.
-
There's this one guy who started a podcast called runtimerror on iTunes apparently, seen him at free code camp New York haven't listened to it yet though
-
This rant really makes me not scared about going into the workforce anymore, if a lot of devs were like the op I bet my internship would've been a little better but regardless, I am really glad "Tom" got treated so nicely, well deserved on him.
-
I just want to keep following this good luck mate! Godspeed through the weekend!

If self_code != understandable
Self = sleep + coffee + drink
Else sleep -
Right side always

That cover is quite accurate
