On-site tests are so underrated. As developers, we all have assumptions on how the users will use the software. But actually watching them use it is so beneficial when trying to understand how they continually create "unable to recreate" type of bugs.

My team is tasked with taking over a project that was initially developed by off shore contract developers.

This was so accurate that I actually shared this post to my team’s slack channel. I wish I could give you more “++”.

@mrgadget sorry, you're right. It's been a while since I've been on DevRant. It seems like it's changed a bit. I didn't even realize you could filter the types of posts out. When DevRant first started the different rant types, "joke" was the only tag needed. Somewhere along the way it changed to "joke/meme".
