@aaronswart damaging to the point the production output is halved as soon as you introduce micromanaging, I daresay…
@Sid2006 criiiiinge!
Just for fun, a recap of today:
Manager: “we created this meeting because we need to release today, so we need to remove the blocking stuff for your tasks so you can work faster and…”
Me: “I asked you to remove <redacted> from us 3 months ago, we spoke to the CTO, you still didn’t do it. Please if you want to make our stuff faster remove that limitation.”
Manager: “If YOU can’t work with that limitation fine, but this meeting is not about that, it’s about stuff that is not making you work right now.”
Me: “so it’s a recursive meeting?”
Manager: “so this meeting is all that is preventing you from working?”
All devs: *duh face*
Manager: “good, then we have removed all the blockers, great job team” -
@topsecret230 @Sid2006
We already had time tracking and stand ups, now they want additional reports “alignments” every 2 days -
Are you for real? I can’t order march amount of tickets!?!
Preposterous!!! -
@kiki don’t forget the hybrid side loading: why render it client side when you can render it both client side AND server side, to be sure it gets rendered correctly. Sure it may both cost a bit to your company and make the render a bit slower, but pixel perfect precision is worth it.
Totally on point on the 3gb. We want people to browser OUR website, not to watch something on their second screen ffs.
(Jeez, not being able to joke about this with you irl sucks: I’m getting chuckles which could be laughs!) -
You can say whatever you want, but spherozord IS the final js framework. We have css-in-js-in-html-in-css-in-js, theta functions, pentadimensional css polyfills, it’s incredibly fast and lightweight* and it’s component support is gold.
You are just an hater, girl.
* (which ofc means probably something is missing coff coff) -
I call bs: there is no version of windows which is not chaotic evil >:3
-
I love it
-
I wish I could be omw to hug you and talk about stuff you may imagine ;P
-
Talk with ux designers and managers then instead of blaming frontend devs .-.

All they said plus proof:

@Lensflare
- Bully goes around crying in multiple posts about the bullied, trying to deffamate the bullied
-bullied calls bully out
- bullied is immature

They are also 5 years away from automatic translations which we can trust. Like we were 5 years ago. And 5 years before that. And 5 years even before. And 5 years…
-
The cringe
-
Speaking of which… very glad you left it… did you read about the recent laws against “the gay propaganda”?
-
@cafecortado uh… no? We just upload ourselves to the cloud, duh!
-
@kiki oh no D:
-
@Wisecrack in this context it means that besides your doubts on appearance etc, you are still a valid [woman/person/human being] worthy of love and that despite the legit doubts one person can have, the person writing it still supports their choices!
-
Just keep in mind in some specific situations it goes away, girl!
Now excuse me, I must go back to the gym! 😤😤😤
(You have no idea how much I love to be able to make this inner joke) -
@kiki aaaah im so happy for you!
Never forget you are valid! -
Ppffffft everyone knows that’s not the way to ask kiki out!
“May i interest you in a most fascinating dinner accompanied by some tasteful css discussions followed by some dunking on Elon? And the perhaps some intimacy or a movie if you feel like it!”
That’s how you ask kiki out 😎
“Hey, are you up to talk about <insert one of the many interesting things about kiki>”
Is also a possibility, but it requires accepting the idea the night may end up in deep discussions and self reflection and that’s very scary for some people. -
I may have started to play “mama mia” in my head as a reaction to the picture.
Heck, what is wrong with me? -
@kiki well, the death part scares me a bit but frankly, being able to create an os from zero, no matter the memes about it or the oddity of it, shows incredible skill… especially trough schizophrenia!
-
Reject Java editor
Embrace temple os -
@ElectroArchiver the worse part is that people fall for him…
-
I swear I’m not a sales bot from the earbud’s company… I just realised my last comment sounded a lot like a sales pitch, lol
-
I can only suggest
“Experience pro” noise cancelling earbuds!
I’ve got very sensible eyesight and ears, so I bought them both for when I get the all-too-common migraines from watching the screen too much and for when I go to concerts (they have 2 modes: noise suppression and noise attenuation). They gave me some good nights of sleep when there were people making noise outside! -
@Wisecrack pfft you clearly haven’t seen manic @kiki … it can teleport behind you, that’s not a fair fight
-
@oiledwheels you seem to have missed that since 2000 we shifted the way we monetise, deliver, analyse, share and live applications.
Alongside with the death of a good share of independent websites and the rise/consolidation of megacorps & their marketplace.
Dont get me wrong, 2000 was cool, but it was 22 years ago… things have changed. -
@oiledwheels it does to publish stuff on their marketplaces :/
Unless you have a plan to make everyone install stuff downloaded from random websites while also giving companies a simple way to market their product, track stats effortlessly, manage the deploy etc like they do on a marketplace you’ll always be bound to approval -
I dont need to rant about it.
Someone does it for me.
