@Hazen Looks like they are not solely used for rants, rant to rant the number skips a bit. I'm guessing the id also gets popped when comments are made. If so that number would be the culmination of rants and comments? just a guess though

I am unfortunately a PCI internal security assessor... It is all really pretty basic security stuff... Annoying none the less. You'll do just fine... Once you read the requirements and make a list for remediation that is :)

That said if you are writing code for an ecommerce site that needs to be compliant you want to review the PA-DSS. You could also outsource the payment gateway and build just the interface then your side of the scope becomes much smaller.

I'm being pushed into dev (and loving it, btw) due to growth plan requirements.

I can tell you with out a doubt, I wish I had started as a dev and stayed as a dev. Money is good in IT, it is good in development. They both have their headaches as well. But you should do what you enjoy and strive to be the best at what you do.
