I wish we could branch out our lives like in git. Just fork at critical decision points, try out both/ multiple outcomes simultaneously, then reconcile and merge back into master.9

Got a 2 level promotion today.. I am now an architect!
I worked in a BPO, throughout my engineering degree(yes I'm Indian), only to end up with mediocre grades. To think of it I gave up on this industry even before my first interview.. My friends forced me to the interview and made sure I sit through each round. Now I'm the fastest growing individual in an organization of 45000 people. Fuck!9 -

#serious inputs needed
I need help identifying that one big problem that all devs face. Irrespective of the language, domain, etc.. And I wanna solve it. I need your inputs on what bothers you the most, and what tech you work with.. Then we can upvote the comments that are applicable to all of us.. I'll setup a github once we come to a conclusion2 -
Knowing that yours is probably the last job that will be automated, followed only by complete annihilation of humanity by artificial intelligence..5

The day I got my first interview, my dad kept fighting over the phone with me. He thought I was out with my girlfriend having fun. He told me no way anyone would waste their time interviewing me, let alone hire me.. Boy did I prove him wrong!1

I'm planning to rewrite two months(part time) worth of work done in android sdk. Wanna go for a hybrid framework. Is this a bad idea? Which framework do you suggest as far as stability is concerned? I don't care about ease of learning, new languages don't bother me2

My life is just a series of disappointments right now from the people around me. Both personally and professionally. Glad I get to spend most of the time staring at a computer. Lifeless, yet the only rational elements in my life!2

My golden rule of debugging - Isolate issues by changing one unit of code at a time. Keep everything else constant.
Second most helpful rule - pick up the habit of fixing things by reviewing code, instead of relying on debuggers. Make you so much more aware of possible pitfalls while coding itself.1
