Working for a company that micro manages, my boss asked me to build a script that calculates hours employee is not on his seat through camera feeds.
Received a mail today that my first weeks deficit are 7 hrs.

Working on a 92 hr estimated task for a client. Client adds 3 urgent tickets from another unrelated task and asks to finish those ASAP.
I do my best and it takes 3 full days to to complete the urgent tickets.
Today I receive a mail from the project manager stating how I'm behind the deadline on the original task and how I should complete it within the deadline date however possible.
Shaking my head.

Do Chinese still use MySql or they have OurSql??

Is it normal to get proposals like "look at x.com , we need exact replica with exact features. Build front end, back end and make it live."

Got new task assigned from my project manager. Client wants to build an Instagram automation site from scratch.
The best thing is UI specification states "Pretty nice and Easy".. that's all.

Recently gave such an horrible interview that I wanted to leave in the middle just to save me from further embarassment...

I click the link. It takes me to the page, which is working and functional.

Me: Yes, this link is both available and active.

Client: Great, thanks for checking that.

Me internally: Did you seriously just SEND ME AN EMAIL to ask me to click a link for you?

So it's been 4 months and my struggles with Power bi continues. The .net developer I once remains only a bleak memory.
So yesterday the client thought about securing reports, I appreciate the step and suggested embedding them in SharePoint Web parts and securing the access from the desktop app. The client wasn't thrilled with my suggestion as his clients might not have SharePoint, valid point. Instead he wants me to create a small web app with a login page to share the public web url of the reports.
He can't trust client by giving them direct urls but will trust them to login first and then have the url....
