Been in my job for years and not moved. Tell me, what makes the experience so bad?

For a software that’s generally brilliant, I still don’t get why it does this so badly.

I made my own for quick queries, but still use RAW SQL for complex lookups.

@netikras that’s the trouble, it’s a mix depending what the dev felt like doing at the time

Why does it have to be csv though? Can’t you store them as files and url reference them? Or are they already stored as blob?

I love my MacBook Pro, there just isn’t anything PC based that had that awesome look and feel.

I thought HR’s job was to weed out the ones that won’t fit in the companies general ethos and then the the decision is down to the team they will be working for.

Couple of questions.

Do you use their API’s or do you scrape it?

I think the fear would be that it could just stop working if they don’t like you doing it.

I also think you need a range of paid options.

Instagrams API’s are pretty simple so my question would be why?

@kwilliams Used it an add to cart process. On iOS 11 and 12 it doesn’t work. iOS 13 is fine though

@Fast-Nop We did and we quoted them to import from their access database. However, there is a massive inconsistency between their site and their access database for their shop stock. They will need to sort that out manually or we can quote them to do that but they have decided to put it on hold.

It’s because Google moved to force keys. So the developer hasn’t updated it since the switch.

It’s a shame the api’s for them are all different :-/
