@terraria99 local to what? The loopback would be local to the machine. The other one is a local area network.

@gowtham-sai other than for development with Xcode on the go

I believe the right choice is a delicate balance of both. Being curious enough but also following the rules that don’t need to be broken.

I installed windows pro n to run GTA 5. While I don’t mind the “go to settings to activate windows” text seeping through the game window, I wouldn’t mind a set of keys if you have them 🙂

The addition problem happens only when you type quickly. The plus button stays deactivated for a second too long after a number button is pressed. This happens with other buttons such as multiply and divide and is easily repeated with any combination of single digits (not just 1,2,3) and a quick finger. As for the I, I haven’t had a problem. Current iOS version: 11.1

I believe a real world equivalent would be if someone followed you around all the time. Yeah maybe there is nothing interesting going on in your life but you wouldn’t want that person following you around everywhere. Whether they’re digging through your trash, looking in your window, showing up at your workplace, you would get pretty uncomfortable. Even if they don’t do anything to you, you would feel uncomfortable having them around all the time, potentially judging you and such. Same goes for online.

Okay, so I’m rebuilding my website from the ground up. Does it seem reasonable to build it in a docker container or just build it to the system?

I personally use iOS but I haven't had any experience with Android. iOS is just the market I am targeting currently.

It seems like such a happy language with the exclamation mark and all

@ewpratten then we're really not your friends are we? 😉

@billgates a bit is 1/8 the size of a byte, so on a 1 Mbps connect it takes 8 seconds to transfer 1 Megabyte

Update: had to wipe the machine again. Ended up reinstalling Yosemite through internet recovery. Once iCloud Drive was working and fully downloaded I upgraded straight to High Sierra (Dev beta 2). Everything is working fine now 😬😓🙂

@badcopnodonuts it still doesn't even work, I'm updating to DEVELOPMENT MacOS to try and see if they fixed it. If it works then there is a problem with MacOS Sierra. I also didn't want to have to download all my apps again so I restored from a backup which could be causing the problem.

After the first iteration the number will be greater than 0 so the multiplication will actually do something. But for the first round it basically does nothing until the *p - 0 is added to it.
-
Yeah, it only gets rid of the info on your computer/device. Your employer and/or the ISP have logging devices to record what traffic is traversing the network.

EDIT: even after a few days the code was no where near a billion... optimization is looking good right now....

I thought google was never down...

@alwaysmpe thank you! I'll look into this for the next iteration. Right now I'm finding primes by testing the divisibility of each number by the array of primes before it. So 2 isn't divisible by an empty array so it's added, 3 isn't divisible by 2 so 3 is added, 4 is divisible by 2 so it isn't added but 5 isn't divisible by 2 or 3 so it is added, and so on
