I feel you bro
-
If it was durable and good quality it wouldn't be overpricing :p
-
Would it be better if they put random emoticons instead of characters?
-
@gitpush sad story
-
Stuff that could be easily done with Linux

@hugh-mungus true, to get the grade compromised is fucked up. I guess I could do that cause the grades were usually individual based on the part you said you did and how you presented and responded the teachers questions.
-
Horrible to me haha but it does the job
-
Agreed
-
Now you will have real fun! Enjoy and welcome to devRant!

I truly respect designers, ux, and even front-end developers. For me what they do is witchcraft I don't understand and love to see when it's done.
Ps: when doing back ends and planning the architecture of the application and setting everything up, for me what I do is also witchcraft but one I understand. -
I had something similar 2 days ago using JMeter
-
Then it's a matter of time they will become bad professionals and won't last in companies, and your conscience will be clear if you tried haha
-
@hugh-mungus no I wouldn't, that's completely different. If it's something I want/need credit for it and somehow can affect my future I wouldn't put it, and also, since I could choose I chose to do my dissertation alone and that's it. But being obliged to do something in group, I won't waste my energy on that at uni, will simple absorb the knowledge, I will even teach them what was done if they need to present the work or something and want to make that effort at least. They probably bailed the group for 2 reasons, either they are busy fucked up with something else, or they are irresponsible and don't give a fuck about their life's or mine, either way I don't care and it doesn't affect what I take from doing the work.
-
When I have people like that in my group, I do everything, put there names and life goes on. I've learned, that's what it matters.
-
The more patiently you handle this situation and keep passing your knowledge to them, it will define how good you are as a professional.
-
There is no such thing as stupidity when trying to learn in a classroom. Stop being a jerk
-
Well, it's not pointless, could be better, but definitely not pointless
-
@PonySlaystation don't confuse .NET stuff with CLR stuff 😉
-
I've uploaded one my Google api credentials...

Well, I never tried, but aws when you first log in to the console has some, "start your ec2 instance in 2 min" totorials. Ec2 would be the machine you are going to put online. But I am pretty sure they have services ready to deploy docker containers that you don't even think about the instance. For starters I guess you should set up a aws account and confirm email telephone and credit card and stuff, then start exploring. You will provide payment but there will be a lot of Free Tier services that will charge will charge you nothing.

Why do you think you bombed it
-
Start searching
-
It's probably the same course agenda from 2004
-
Turn the PC off, stand up and leave the room, go take a walk
-
Should've used openframeworks running on Linux
-
Show us a bit of the language. Will it be some sort of encryption in the end?
-
Aws
-
Mine takes less than 5 minutes, I can't complain on that. We even do it standing and the one talking has to hold a heavy Thor hammer so that it will go straight to the point.
-
And welcome to devRant!

Don't you agree that the more PaaS, IaaS, QaaS and all the other aaS solutions get better and better those problems will get smaller? I understand the rant, but don't you think that in a few years it will make more and more sense to split it all up?
