Today I came to work and all our main systems where offline (Gitlab, Artifactory, Time tracking, ...). Found out that one of the HDDs of our server (external hosted) died. I started copying some stuff from the second Raid hdd (just in case and because our backup is of course not complete [#notmyfault]) while their datacenter had a power outage.... I'm now waiting for our server to come back to get our systems running again

When you have a weekly Skype call with the client, but the client doesn't show up... 😡

I guess they are still in holiday since it's the first week of the year... But one COULD send a mail before christmas about not being there in the first week.

Now I'm waiting 10 more minutes in the skype call to make sure they aren't just late.

Finally fixed a bug I've been working on for 3 fucking weeks! What a relief.

20 minutes ago he called from a local undertaker searching us... From there it is a 5 minute walk to our company.

I guess we don't hire someone who cannot use Google Maps to determine the location of a company...

Microsoft certsrv is returning UTF-8 on the authorization error page but UTF-16 when logging in via basic auth...

Debugged this for 2 hours today to parse the response correctly. Thanks Microsoft

In a former company we had a CEO that was no developer but thought he knows better just because of googling stuff.
One meeting was a very ridiculous one. He told us which technology we should use for the new project. All of us developers objected and agreed on something better.
It ended in he yelling at us and calling us stupid and incompetent. This meeting lasted almost a whole day.
I left the company soon after.

Why have so many fucking websites the signup form in the start page but you have to click in the menu to get to the login?!
I signup only once but I have to fucking log in every single time I go to the page!!!11

Today came 2 girls to the office for an interview. Except we didn't invited them but another company in the building... (non tech)
Later we thought we should have started to interview them and ask dev questions and so on. Would have been interesting when they noticed they are in the wrong interview...

Why do such nasty ideas always pop up later?
