@vocuzi The main issues raised are using the data without attribution and causing a DOS on a website. If you publish data about your business publicly, you can't turn around and say it's no fair someone is using that for competitive advantage.
Scraping public data for private use (not republishing etc) isn't something prosecutable as long as you're not causing service interruptions. -
@billgates Or it's PEBKAC.
-
@vocuzi If it's publicly available on the internet, then it's free game.
-
Use a password manager like a civilized person?
-
@ralnivar Yep. Additionally, it's a space and resource hog. A Windows install needs an EC2 at least twice as big as one that will run a *nix install.
PS to all: I really like working on my Mac, too. Stay mad. :p -
Not a Linux Fanatic. I use Windows for gaming, and have for years. But when automating CI/CD is 10 times faster and easier when you've got a *nix environment/stack...
-
I love both.
-
Baaaaaa.
-
Sorry about your dick. ;)

My only hope is that he was fired for his lack of being able to teach, not for his use of memes. People need to lighten the hell up.
-
Too lazy to rotate.
-
Really nice shot! Also, my phone autocorrected to "Really nice shit" which is still accurate... I guess.
-
Not I. I prefer to be relatively anonymous on the net.
-
So true. Gonna steal this.
-
LOL!
-
Lol! Party time! Don't drink and post.
-
I'm glad you were able to return it. In my opinion, the last good MacBook Pros were in 2015 and I personally am not interested in an upgrade.
-
So it's not just my VPN and ad blockers and tracking blockers?
-
Heh. My MBP sits in a dock at work. With 2 external monitors that means 3 screens. External keyboard and touchpad are connected via Bluetooth. Still have open ports for USB drives etc.
-
@undaunted Thanks! I'll give that a try.
-
Could be poor nutrition. How are you eating?
-
@undaunted Please do. There is one setting to magnify things but it makes it look terrible. I'd love to know what your friend did.
-
Doesn't the Lazarus extension for desktop browsers still exist?
-
Oh, so much cheese. I'm lactose intolerant.
-
Those Omens are nice, but weigh as much as a tank. I had one about 3-4 yrs ago. Decent line of machines. Hope you enjoy.
-
@lxmcf They fucking better with the exorbitant prices they charge.
-
MySQL Workbench is the biggest pile of shit. Anything but that. I use DataGrip now, but I used to use dbeaver before enterprise version went pay. Nice thing about dbeaver is it handles Mongo. DG doesn't handle NoSQL.
-
Clown shoes. Incompetent businesses are the worst.
-
@undaunted I wanted to like Manjaro, but its support for HiDPI displays is absolute shit. Everything on my laptop was fucking tiny and no matter what I tried, it either looked like shit, wasn't usable, or both. Super disappointed.

Mint. Pick your DE. By far the easiest for folks new to Linux. Solid, too.
