Tell him you work for money only and he can keep your shares cuz they're worth more!
-
@GMR516 Wow, that's pretty crazy. I've long suspected this to be the truth in larger corporations, but that's more than I really expected.
-
Nice! Congratulations!
-
Yep! I use Bulma for all my open-source projects now.
-
Here's the one I use: http://rainymood.com/

This is terrible. Frightening. Terribly frightening.
...
So did someone click the button? That's the only way this story could get any better. -
That is historic!
-
Is that a Dev dependency or a production dependency?
-
Fantastic advice! I can say I've worked with some egos - I mean, uh, programmers - before.
-
Programming on Windows, no wonder nobody loves them!
...
Sorry, had to do it. -
@Root Ugh, that's even worse! I'm working my way through LastPass, changing passwords.
-
@AndSoWeCode hmm. I bike too, I suppose I should remember that it only takes one fall.
-
Ouch! Story?
-
No, I like it. Every one of those stickers probably reminds them of a conference or a job.
-
** That last sentence I did not send. Thus keeping my email borderline professional and courteous.
-
@Alpham0use Lol. Didn't think of that.
-
@Torbuntu Eh, if you hold the hammer wrong, don't blame the hammer.
-
You get the song reference?
Obviously some developer needed to make sure that button worked over *every image, and had a little fun with it. -
@Null-Device That's when you hit Control+Shift+T until you strike gold.
-
@MrCSharp Between you and @riekena I owe you guys. I took a SQL class at school (PLSQL to be exact) and the professor didn't discuss the actual usefulness of transactions. Not even sure he covered them at all.
-
@BeardedFists That is a neat/weird pro tip! Thanks! That would be helpful in setting up Flyway / MySQL CI.
-
@BeardedFists Must be nice to be able to hire a guy just to write SQL. We don't have that luxury at our small web agency.
-
@riekena What? I should have known this. I had no idea MySQL supported transactions!
-
@rpcaldeira nope, I had to restore from the daily backup. Not cool, but I don't think anyone actually noticed other than me.
-
@senzory As many times as it happens, I guess...
-
@ODXT Yeah, I like requesting this stuff and seeing it actually come back in proper (json!) format. Pretty cool.
-
I don't know what it is, but I get the most fun by far working with APIs. Something about all that data going in and out is just cool to me. Eventually I'm going to switch jobs to something where I can build APIs all day long!
-
I've been extremely impressed with BitWarden. On the other spectrum, I was updating passwords in LastPass last night and wow what a piece of garbage the Firefox extension is. It has a ton of bugs which make it pretty hard to update your saved passwords.
-
Reminds me of a few interesting SO posts. Sorry to hear your story, but think of all the experience you gained!

(Seriously, go read @mojojojo's rant, it's interesting.)
