Fear porn propaganda

@root your profile is hilarious hahah.
Why the dotnet hate <3 -
@root that sucks so bad I’m sorry. You have to leave your to valuable to stay snd don’t deserve this
-
@TeachMeCode aww that’s to bad then. In that case just leave
-
@Oktokolo that’s a good approach
-
@Oktokolo on the contrary, he should leave his teammates behind. His teammates can leave just like he can.
He does not need to cause pain to his own life just because everyone else is a masochist or to afraid or weak to leave a bad environment -
What is this?
-
@Root I don’t understand why you won’t mention this (the schedule) to your boss?
It’s unrealistic, dare I say impossible to be in meetings all day and also remain productive as a developer. -
Make sure to show the schedule and the boss will understand
-
@Ranchonyx personally if I drink I can’t code
-
Yea, I agree
-
Hahah I laughed hard
-
You don’t need the algorithm, just learn the how and why. For design pattern just keep code clean following clean code standards.
Don’t go into computer science of it -
@Floydimus ya but it’s very easy to forget this and do extra hours for a company
-
@atheist you are 100% right in all statements
-
@Floydimus lol then you’ll get a pat on the back and company will dump you if they no longer need you.
Remember the companies are not loyal to you It’s a one way street -
@amorphousjax I agree it’s a bit intimidating, but it’s much easier and less intimidating than managaing multiple versions of python imo.
I dislike python btw -
#4!!!!!!!!!
And also don’t use cutting edge tech, refactoring for breaking changes = ouch and also support for external tooling and documentation = ouch -
Lol he knew it the whole time
-
Use anaconda. Thank me later.
-
In developer land the only way you level up is external promotions.
If you have stock options ask yourself if the company will ever go public and watch videos of the ceo. For example, WeWork ceo had clearly no intentions of going public years before the implosion of WeWork, you can see it in his responses in interviews -
Say maximum time and no guarantees. Under promise and over deliver
-
Sounds like he’s bringing a fresh opinion that either will help you improve your processes or help you know that you made the right decision in your processes
-
@rutee07 preach!

@devphobe dotnet on windows is smooth as butter
-
@Lensflare I forget if it was for audio driver or Bluetooth driver on windows 10.
Occasionally my audio stops working and shows an X on the volume area. If I do the fix auto it usually fixes this.
On the contrary, for WiFi or network issues it never works to fix it -
Truth. But documentation accelerates this. You are correct most documentation is lackluster.
I very much appreciate good docs -
Cool story Hansel
-
Trusting developers to write code that I can write myself but do not have time, In spirit of delegation.
Then the code comes back like a 2-year old wrote it. So I end up doing my self.
My weakness I trusting other developers sadly -
It’s helped me once or twice with Bluetooth or audio issues
